Cat's POV
Saturday morning. Sighing, I pulled out of bed and slipped into my fluffy bedroom slippers. I took my pear phone from my nightstand and checked for messages. Two: One from my brother: Probably is in trouble again, and one from Tori. I read hers: Hey Cat, come over today, soon please! It's important. I giggled. I was glad I had something fun to do. I decided to set off after lunch.
On my way to Tori's is started thinking about what she wanted me for. What could be so important that she couldn't wait till Monday to tell me? I thought of the most exciting things, like she got a role in a movie or signed a record label contract.
Arriving at her house I was almost bursting with curiosity. Before I could ring the doorbell, she opened the door. "Hey Tor-"she dragged me in before I could finish the sentence. "I'm gonna kill her sooo bad" she growled and I immediately knew: She hadn't got me here to tell me anything good.
"Kill who?" I asked. She furiously looked at me and as I understood it hit me like lightning: "Mee?" I squealed, only an inch away from freaking out. What did I do? "What did I do?" I repeated my thought out loud. Suddenly Tori's face softened as she noticed that I hadn't understood. "Oh no, Cat! Not you, I don't mean you, I mean you could never hurt a fly!" But that just made it worse She thinks I'm weak? I"m NOT a helpless little girl, if that was what she meant! "What's that supposed to mean?" I screamed at her. If she thought she could insult me without me caring, she was wrong. "I just mean I could never get mad at you" she explained, trying to clear the confusion. "Oh." I exclaimed, a bit embarrassed: "Who are you mad at then?" "Jade!" I should have known. Jade was my best friend, but she still couldn't go a day without trying to make life hard for someone, this someone mostly being Tori. Never me though. Jade is, and has always been, nice to me, it was just a few times that I could get her really pissed off. "What did she do?" I wanted to know "She told Sinjin to do some stupid sock puppet video, for The Slap and now everyone thinks I don't floss" she threw her hands in the air , frustrated, and walked over to me. Her lips neared my ear and she whispered: "I want revenge," Her voice had an evil tinge that I knew too well, from Jade. Why not? A harmless prank will be fun. "…and I already have a plan"
