Note: The time is now 11 pm and I've been awake since around 7:45 am so it may be a little off...Who will notice the difference? No one.

He was an angel when he slept. His eyes closed, hiding the cold pain which burned there during the daylight hours. At night, he was the pure child he wanted to be. The soft splay of brown bangs across the cream like skin. The slight turn of those soft pink lips, sheltering pristine white teeth and a brilliant smile.

The smile he had fallen in love with.

He brushed his fingers across that tender visage, wondering is he would ever be allowed to touch him like this when he awoke. He wanted to kiss those lips and feel them yield beneath him. He wanted to be loved again.

My pure white angel. Could you ever love a demon like me?

He wanted to kiss him. Just sweep his lips across that skin.

He lent in, not even thinking about it anymore, brushing their lips together. A feathers touch.

He pulled back, smiling at the rosy blush blossoming on those pale cheeks.

My love, so much stronger than I. Will you keep me safe?

He straightened, heading for his own bed and dream of his loves caress.

But a hand caught his.

"Heero...Stay with me?" He smiled, staring into those shimmering purple eyes and hating the torrent of pain he saw there. "Make the nightmares leave?" Such a soft question, so tentative and afraid of rejection.

How could I ever reject you my darling. Only you can keep me safe.....From myself.

And he stayed.

One midnight kiss was all it took.

He stayed.

Forever his demons stood at the side of his pure white angel.

Finally at peace.

So there is my short 1x2 sap fic which was requested by Zuci.

Due to writing this I now have not only my two epic fics in the works up a sequel to Blind Panic and a little get together fic called Rain Maker. Don't know when I will get the time with all my exams! I'll MAKE time!
