As soon as she wakes up Chloe price has a strange sense of dread as she slowly opens her eyes, glancing around the room she realises what day it is,
"You should have gotten the bus that day dad" she whispers to herself, she observes her room for a few seconds before her face creases up and she looses her composure, quiet sniffles ring through the room as the blonde haired girl's shoulders shake astears
slowly stream down her face and onto her pillow, too wrapped up in her thoughts she doesn't notice the movement behind her,
"Chloe?" A soft voice asks, the blonde quickly wipes her face of tears as she remembers that she has company, there's a soft hand on her shoulder,
"What's wrong? You're crying..." the girl behind her says again,
"It's nothing, I'm..fine" Chloe replies not moving from her position of lying on her side,
"Chloe, talk to me" the gentle concerned voice says,
"Rachel i...I don't want to talk about it" Chloe sighs softly, Rachel gently pulls on her left shoulder to turn her to face her, Chloe is met with Rachel's worried face, she glances her eyes away but not for long as Rachel cups the taller girls cheekand
pulls her in for a gentle kiss, the kiss lasts a few seconds before they both pull away slowly, Chloe sighs glancing away again,
"It...today is the day my dad went to pick up my mum and...didn't get there.." the blonde sighs yet again, Rachel gives her a sad smile of pity,
"I'm so sorry Chloe" she says gently, Chloe's eyes tear up immediately and she doesn't even try to keep her tears at bay, Rachel pulls her girlfriend tight against her chest and Chloe lets down her walls for the first time in what feels like forever
"I want my dad back" Chloe cries softly, Rachel stays silent and just lets Chloe cry against her chest as she snuggles into her neck to show that she's here.
