Escape From This Hell
Summary: Set after the 2017 movie, Jason and Kimberly find something new inside of them in which brings them closer than before. (one shot)
As Jason left Zordon's ship, he felt a weight lifted off of his shoulders. His team had won, it was one hell of a fight between Rita and Goldar. He felt light, he felt like he was unstoppable like nothing could phase him, maybe it was the powers from the coin? He wasn't sure but once he left the ship, he felt the cool breeze of the summer night a smile formed on his lips as he saw Kimberly waiting for him.
The time that he had spent with Kimberly along with the rest of the team he felt something between them had shifted, it was new..something unique and he wasn't about to let that go. He had to make his move right here right now before it was too late. Before they moved on.
"So.. how about we get out of here?.. You and I." Jason suggested as he stood in front of Kimberly, Kimberly moved a strand of hair from her eye, a small smile formed on her lips which caused Jason to feel his heart hammering against his chest.
"And where do you think we would go Jason?"She asked she made a small step closer to the male, she stared into his eyes as if she was searching for something.
A quirk formed on Jason's lips, a gleam in his eye as he stepped forward, his hands reaching out to hold hers. "I think.. we should go as far away from Angel Grove .. like you asked before.. but this time...without anything holding us back." He murmured as he felt Kimberly squeeze his hands.
"Are you sure that's what we should do Jason?" She asked softly as she stared into his eyes, her heart racing against her chest.
"Yes..I'm pretty positive."He nodded his head slowly as he watched her, he couldn't take his eyes away from the girl who had captured his heart a long time ago.
"Well.. let's do it then." Kimberly grinned as she found herself excited, she wanted to explore and she wanted to escape Angel Grove even if for a short while. And being with Jason would just add the icing to the cake.
Jason grinned as well as he placed his hands on her cheeks, cupping her face lightly, he moved in closer , the wind around them picked up, but he didn't care at the moment. He wanted this moment to last forever as he placed his lips on hers.
The kiss was slow, her lips were soft on his, something he wished wouldn't go away, he felt himself wanting to kiss her more but he didn't want to scare her off. When the need of air came to affect Jason pressed his forehead against Kimberly's.
Knowing at that moment, this is what he was meant for. He was meant to be a team leader, he was meant to be with Kimberly Hart.
