Earthbound/ededdneddy crossover
It is the year 200X
Peach Creek, a small town in America
Edd's house...
Edd slowly woke to the sound of footsteps and loud banging nearby. He half conciously decided to ignore it and slowly drifted back into sleep.
*CRASH!*
Edd shot straight up in bed within less than a second. He whispered "Intruders!" in fear. He carefully slid out of bed and reached for his nightstand where his cactus named Jim sat in his pot. Edd, now equipped with his trusty cactus began to open the door to his hallway. The fear grew inside of him as the door creaked open. When he was no longer shielded by his door his eyes were tightly shut and he wimpered "I have a cactus!"
"Cool it sockhead!" a familiar voice whispered.
"Eddy!? What are you doing here!? If my parents catch us-"
"Alright double d, I have the perfect idea! We sell jars of fireflies for cash! We'll be swimming in jawbreakers!"
Eddy and Ed stood 4 feet from Edd's parent's bedroom. Eddy was staring into an empty jar, imagining it filled with quarters. Ed was licking a gravy stain from the inside of his shirt.
"Fireflies?! Eddy its 12:34 AM! If you think I will leave my house, betray my parent's loyalty for another one of your self-centered scams, I am going to have to ask you to leave!"
Eddy took his eyes off the jar. His anxious expression faded into an evil grin,
"Alright double d, I'll make sure to tell the kids what's under that hat of yours when im gone."
Edd stared back at Eddy.
"Y-you wouldn't dare!"
Eddy opened a nearby window. He took a deep breath in and yelled
"HEY EVERYONE DOUBLE DEE HAS A-"
Edd ran for the window.
"Curse you and your blackmailing ways Eddy!"
"Follow me sockhead, we got work to do, you too lumpy"
"I don't know why I let you do these things Eddy" Edd said, following Eddy out the door.
"Can I lick the bowl double d?" Ed replied automatically.
