hey everyone! I hope you like this... yeah I don't really have anything to say. This contains suicide.
I don't own Percy Jackson, Rick Riordon does
He screwed up.
He screwed up bad.
He told the girl he loves "I love you," each and every day but not today. Today was Valentine's Day and yet, Percy did not say "I love you," to Annabeth.
He didn't give her a Valentine's Day present, he didn't shower her with compliments and he didn't give her a smother of kisses which was unlike him.
He simply didn't do anything. "Annabeth," he tried to reason with her but she would not listen. His actions did enough. "So, it was all a lie?" She cried. "A lie when you told me you loved me?" Her eyes were brimming with tears, her grey eyes full of anger and hurt. "No, no! It was all true! I swear it on the River Styx! Annabeth, I do love you!"
"It doesn't seem like it!" She snapped. She left the room with a slam to the door.
Percy cried as he pounded his fist on the wall. "Annabeth," he choked. This was his fault. His fault for not doing anything. He didn't even run after her! Finally, he sucked up his pride and marched out his door, heading to Annabeth's house.
When his feet landed on her porch, he knocked softly. "Annabeth?" He called but no one answered. "Come on, open the door!" Nothing. "Alright, I'm breaking down this door!" And he wasn't lying. He literally broke down the door. "Annabeth Chase, where are you?" By now, Percy was panicking so he went to Annabeth's door. He knocked softly, aware he wasn't going to get a reply. "Annabeth? Please, I know you're in there. I didn't know how idiotic I've been to you. Please, I'm trying to make it right for you, just let me in. Right now, we only have each other, it's just you and me. Please, let me make it up to you." There was no answer. "Annabeth?"
Again, Percy did the dumbest thing in the world. He broke down another door. When he got a clear view inside, he saw Annabeth just about to kill herself. "Annabeth, no!"
He rushed forward and got the knife out of her hand before it touched her skin. He took her in for a hug and mumbled apologies as she cried on his shoulder. It stayed this way for five more minutes before the sobbing ceased. "Annabeth? I'm sorry I didn't get you anything or do anything romantic for you," Percy apologised and he got a hit on the shoulder. "I forgive you, Seaweed Brain. Can you just promise me something?"
"Anything,"
"Promise me you won't ever let me go,"
"I promise with all my heart,"
Annabeth smiled for the first time that day and leaned forward, kissing Percy for five minutes.
Ok, that'll be all. Thanks and please review!
