~ It's as if you haven't heard a word that you had said. ~
Do you remember what you had said to me?
She could still remember that expression on his face after he saved her from the bus explosion, as if to assure he is always there to protect her while he said the words, "Don't run, Haibara. Don't run away from your fate."
And yet, now you are down there, succesfully escaped your own fate.
Tears threatened to fall. Then, she turned her back from the grave, slowly taking steps away from that place while staring at the vast sky.
It's as if you haven't heard a word that you had said.

A friend who was always so confident that all problems can be solve as long as they were together. Yet, he committed suicide just because his dog died.
