The only question on Tony's mind was: 'Why me?' Granted he wasn't complaining, he was just wondering why Loki would choose him of all the Avengers or just anyone else on Earth. Or any other creature that he had access to...?

Currently he was cuddling up to said god in post-coital bliss, still wondering how it really all started.

Tony was in his workshop, working on a new suit. He wanted lighter and magic resistant. When they had last battled with Loki, he had found a way to shut down JARVIS without cutting off the suit and Tony had no way of really controlling the suit without the A.I.

Tony's train of thought was derailed when he sensed another presence in the room. "JARVIS, why didn't you tell me someone was coming?" The only answer he got was silence and that was all the answer he needed.

"Loki, aren't you supposed to be on Asgard receiving your punishment?"

"This is my punishment" Loki replied.

"What do you mean by that?"

"I have been cast out of Asgard by Odin and stripped if most of the power Odin was able to get his hands on." Loki said cryptically.

Confusion was written all over Tony's face and Loki decided to answer the unspoken question. "I was able to hide quite a bit of my magic from Odin."

"I thought Odin was 'all-knowing'."

"The only things the All-Father knows about me are the things I allow him to know. Magic is part of my very being. If Odin were to know of how deep magic ran in me and was able to strip me of it entirely, it would kill me. Odin only knows of a select few of my powers and those were expendable."

Tony's head was swimming. 'Maybe I did drink too much before I came down here. And why would Loki be so talkative?' He heard himself say "What else can you do?" Mentally kicking his ass for making such an open invitation for disaster.

But Loki only smiled. "I believe you Midgardians have a saying 'It's on need to know basis'."

Tony suddenly remembered something Loki had said earlier. "What part of this is your punishment?"

"I was cast to Midgard with limited power and bound to you. What more punishment do you wish me?"

"Wait, what? You're bound to me?"

"Yes, I am." Was all Loki answered

Ok so it's my first Tony/Loki fic and it wanted out. It was originally supposed to be a oneshot smut but then a plot of some kind wrote itself in... WTF?! I don't know what happened there but some feedback would be lovely and maybe a few suggestions on how this will evolve?
