This was written about the episode "Passion" in Season 2. This is right after Angel kills Jenny, and I was astounded at how he just stood there and laughed. So I wrote a poem about it. Which is pretty good for me, because I hate writing poetry, and this took a while to write. This is also my first Buffy fic, so I hope you like it. Remember to review!
Disclaimer: I do not own Buffy the Vampire Slayer or the storyline.
He stands outside the window
After the crime he'd just done;
He watches as the telephone rings,
Feeling he's just won.
He watches as his lover answers,
Her face content and cheerful,
He watches as her face falls,
Starting to be fearful.
With weary head, she sits down,
And wrings her eyes dry,
While outside he stands and watches
And laughs instead of cries.
He broke the neck, so frail and human.
Relished in the kill,
And when he heard the familiar crack,
He found it was a thrill.
And when he saw the pain in her face,
He had to have some more;
He laughs again and stays and watches,
Evil to the core.
