i looked out of the window and gasped. Charlie! He had come before me and Edward hunted! I rushed down to see Edward looking pale and Carlisle at the door. "what are we gonna do?" I asked worried.
"carlisle is going to stall him while we quickly hunt with renesmee," Edward explained. I felt reassured. I grabbed my daughter renesmee and we set off. I let renesmee go with Edward while I hunted. I turned off my mind slightly and sniffed. Mountain lion. I tracked it and ran at it. In less than a second I hurled at it and in one swift movement I had landed on it, struck it down and sank my teeth into it, hearing the soft whimper just as I crushed the windpipe. I drank the blood, the burning quenched in my throat. I found my husband and our daughter and set off back to find Charlie in the sitting room chatting with emmett about the football league in New York.
