That was often said in books that I have read so far. Of course, I knew better that happy endings never happen in real life. You just need to see it as one at least.
My name is Cross Rica. It is supposed to be a happy family outing to Italy. I am looking forward to the trip - My parents died in an accident, got caught in a cross fire. How unlucky it was for me and my family; and considering that OUR family name IS CROSS – it was something to take their lives away.
…. I was left alone….
At 13, that was supposing the end of my life. And yet I surprised to have survived. I was saved by a certain brunette as I was staggering about the dark alleys of Italy. Sawada Tsunayoshi was his name. He gave me everything that I would need. Grew up with people I could call family.
At 18, found myself falling in love. Of course the man that I have chosen could never be mine. His heart was somebody else'. I wasn't intent to destroy anyone else' life as long as the man I love is happy. I would do anything to let him have the closure of a warm family. Even sacrifice my life. And that was it.
I lie at present on the ground, bleeding; had protected the life of the man I Love and MY SAVIOR. I used my body, caught an attack directed at Sawada Tsunayoshi. The blade slashed thru my clothes creating a deep wound causing me to bleed badly. I could feel everything slip away from me – my gaze getting blurry, my sense of touch going numb. I could faintly hear a voice – voice of the man I love calling out my name repeatedly.
… Be happy… I love you…
I wanted to say. I could not open my mouth any longer.
… Don't cry…
Wanting to wipe away his tears away from his eyes, shedding for my sake. I could not move my hand.
… Thank you…
I wanted to at least plant a kiss on him to give him comfort, show that I had no regret with the life he had saved.
… I am happy… This IS my happy ending…..
