I'll Do My Best

Amy tries to think why Sonic doesn't love her in the same way. Finding out that a girl is the reson makes it feel impossible to get him. Knowing love would be harder to gived up on makes Amy decide to just try her best at getting him. My attempt at a poem

Here I am at school just sitting, wonder why? Well its because I'm hoping he will walk by and I'll finally catch his eye. Of course, always chasing that cute blue hedgehog has run him off. Unless it was my look, or possibly how I talk. Well I talk high pitched, but why would he care? That must mean its something I wear! I used to wear headbands, but now I wear them less. I even don't wear my red signature dress. My hair has grown out, and I always wear it down. They all say I look pretty, but I can't but frown. For the one that I want, my hero in blue armor doesn't feel the same. He loves someone else, a purple cat; I think Blaze is her name. Well, I want Sonic to myself because that's how I love him, but he loves her in a way just the same…

Should I give up on getting him, and try to stop loving him… No! You can't give up on love no one can! I can't have Sonic. I've tried so hard to get him it seems impossible, should I just call it a rest … I guess it will be hard to get him, but I'll do my best.
