HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Doctor Gregory House trudged into the lobby of Princeton Plainsboro Hospital. It was as busy as always during the morning, but not busy enough to keep Doctor Cuddy from noticing his entrance.

'House!'

He quickened his pace toward the elevator. The nurse inside watched without pity as the door shut in his face. With a wince he turned around.

'House.'

He thought for a moment. 'Home.'

'What?'

'I thought we were playing that game where you say something and then I say what it makes me thinks of. Your turn…whip.' His eyes had a devilish glint in them.

She scowled and held up a file. 'New case for you. Came in an hour ago. Around the time you were supposed to be here.'

'Aw shucks, now you've gone and make me feel bad.' He hammered on the Up button.

'A five-year-old boy presented with pain throughout his body.'

House rolled his eyes as he shook the small orange bottle in his hand to emit two white tablets. 'Right, so what you're not telling me is that the kid was in some sort of accident and I'm basically going to see a small train wreck.' The doors slid open. 'Thank you!'

'No blood, no scars.'

He froze on his way into the lift. The doors were about to close again, but he stopped them with his cane. 'Bruises?'

'Nope.'

She smirked as he grabbed the file and he frowned. 'Don't you have a whole staff to go harrass or am I the only one working for a living?'

His mouth twitched when she went off in a huff and the doors of the elevators closed quietly.
