Characters are based from my crossover story "Friendship, Disharmony & Sonic", just a quick little one-shot for Sonic's return to Super Smash Bros. All characters mentioned belong to their respective owners.
It was a sunny day in Ponyville, and we see Sonic at a park with all of his friends from his most recent adventure. He was laying down, with his hands behind his head relaxing, while the rest of his friends were enjoying a picnic, telling each other jokes and enjoying the day away. His friends consisted of six ponies, who were known as Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity and Rainbow Dash, a blue jay and a raccoon, they were known as Mordecai and Rigby, a magic dog, known as Jake, and seven kids, all known as Finn, Ed, Edd, Eddy, Danny Fenton, Sam Manson and Tucker Foley, as well as his other friends, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Shadow, Rouge, Cream and Cheese.
Sonic looked over to the group as Danny asked him a question.
"Hey Sonic, what's been the craziest adventure you've ever been on?" asked Danny.
Sonic smirked, grabbed a muffin and said, "That's a tall list you're asking my friend. But the craziest adventure I can name is-."
Before he had a chance to answer Danny's question, a grey Pegasus had just arrived to the picnic.
Twilight saw her and said, "Hey Derpy, what are you doing here?"
Derpy said, "I have a special message for a Mr. Sonic the Hedgehog."
Everyone turned to him in confusion, as he said, "That would be me, thank you."
She gave him the envelope, and he gave her his muffin after noticing that she was looking at it. Once she left, he stared at the envelope that had his name on it.
Pinkie said in excitement, "What is it? What is it?"
Sonic turned the envelope over and noticed a familiar red orb with a unique plus symbol stamped on the flap. He said, "No way." He immediately tore open the envelope and it read:
Congratulations Sonic! For your success in the last meeting, you are cordially invited to return for Super Smash Bros.
Sonic jumped in the air in excitement and said in enthusiasm, "Alright! I was wondering when they'd write back!"
Before anyone could question him, he left the picnic area with great speed, letting the letter drop to the ground. After everything settled down, Mordecai spoke up and said, "What was that all about?"
Amy picked up the letter and said with a smile, "He's going back."
And that's it; Sonic is back for Super Smash Bros.! I hope you all liked it.
