I'm constantly gaining and losing inspiration. And school has started back, which doesn't help.
I promise that I'm trying and will return to my other fics really soon.
In the mean time, enjoy~

It was pouring outside.

All day the sky had been cloudy and grey, until finally, it had opened up and decided to douse the world. Lorcan stared out from his perch on his window seat at the dull world outside, his book forgotten on his lap. Everything was blurry and soaked and two-dimensional.

And then it wasn't.

He squinted, it looked like- but it couldn't possibly be her. No one in their right mind would think to go out in this weather.

He sat up straighter and opened the window to get a better view. There, dancing freely on his lawn was Lily Luna Potter.

What the hell?

Lily had always been the crazy one of the Potter-Weasley clan, but he'd never realised how much so until this very moment.

"Lily!" he called out incredulously, struggling to be heard over the roar of the rain.

The red headed blur paused in her dance and turned to look at him.

"What?" she called back, blinking rain water out of her eyes.

"What- what are you even doing?" Lorcan was vaguely aware of the rain coming in through his window and wetting his jeans.

"Dancing," she said simply, "What does it look like I'm doing?"

Lorcan shook his head slightly and closed his window. He briefly considered going back to reading his book before rolling his eyes and running down the stairs to the door.

Lily had gone back to dancing, her movements random and sporadic. Lorcan stood in the doorway and watched her.

Lily stopped again mid-twirl, turning to him and putting her hands on her hips. "Are you just going to stand there," she said, "Or are you going to come dance with me? It's a beautiful day."

Lorcan gaped at her in disbelief, looking up at the stormy sky above them, then back at the wild girl standing in his garden. She was tiny and drenched, her green dress clinging to her and her red hair dark and curling to frame her pale face. Her feet were bare and covered in mud. She looked like a little kid. She smiled and extended an arm to him.

"Come on," she said.

He went.

It'd be cool if you could leave me a review instead of just favouriting.
