Tohru had fallen off of a cliff after a confrontation with Akito that had gone right.

"Where is she?!" yelled Kyo as he stormed down the hallways of the hospital. They let her go, and never told me! The bastards!

He turned a corner to see Tohru talking to Uotani and Hanajima. She turned around and turned back as soon as she saw his anxious face. He raced towards her as she began to run in the opposite direction. Ou jumped in front of him and barred her arms in front of her to block him.

"Didn't we tell you to stay away from her?!" she said angrily.

"Move, Yankee!" he said.

"Arisa... Let him pass." said Hanajima as she placed a hand on her arm. "He is giving off positive waves."

"But...!" argued Uotani.

Hanajima just nodded and Uotani let her arms down.

Thank you, Hanajima. Thought Kyo as he quickly passed.

"Do you think we are doing the right thing?" Uo asked Hana.

"I have no idea, Arisa. But I trust in him to take care of our Tohru." assured Hanajima.

"Me too, Hana, me too." said Uo as they put their arms around their sholders and squeezed each other, assuringly.

"Tohru!" yelled Kyo as he raced after her. Why is she running?! She turned the corner with him close behind. Within a few moments, he had caught up to her. He grabbed her by the elbow and turned her to face him. "Why do you keep running?"

"I thought you were angry with me." she replied.

"Angry? How could I be angry?"

"I thought I made you angry, so I didn't want to anger you any more, so I ran."

"You could never make me angry, Tohru." he grabbed her chin with his thumb and forefinger. "I love you too damn much." He bent forward and brought his lips towards hers. Her cheeks began to burn and her eyes fluttered. She placed her hands on his chest and pushed herself away.

What is this feeling in my chest? My heart, it won't slow down! A boys never kissed me before! Oh, Mom! What do I do? She began to remember what her mom had said the night before the accident. "Tohru, there will come a time when a boy falls in love with you. Either you love him or not, you have to decide. But whatever you choose, choose with your heart. Just think about how you feel around him, and go with your heart!" She looked into his eyes and felt her stomach turn. She grabbed his wrists and longed to hug him.

Her voice quavered as tears sped down her cheeks. "I-I love you, too!"

He ran his fingers through her hair and down her back to her waist. He wrapped his hands around her wasit, pulled her towards him and placed his mouth on hers. She hugged him closer. There was a sudden pulse between their bodies. They broke apart and forgot about the curse. A puff of smoke formed around their bodies and a voice could be heard echoing around them. Only when the cat can truly be loved, the curse will break... there was a bright flash and the other Sohmas could be seen. Their bodies pulsed and they all noticed something had changed.

The smoke cleared and they looked at each other. "The curse is finally broken!" yelled Kyo as he lifted her into the air. After he had twirled her around a couple of times, he brought her back down and they locked lips once again.

And so, the curse had broken, thanks to the cat, and an outsider...
