"Reino! Come over here! I found it!" a girl's voice called.

"Wha ? Already?!" followed a young boy's.

"Yeah! Look at it! It's so pretty…"

"Mm. Auntie Kairi wasn't lying when she said they looked like stars."

"..Think that we could eat it? It looks safe.."

"Hmm…well, I don't have anyone that I really like. What about you?"

Bright cheeks blushed a pinkish hue.

"Maybe.."

The sun slowly crept over the horizon, peeking it's rays out to see what it had left from the night before. It turned the clouds from a dark blue to a purplish hue that illuminated out towards a small island. Small waves crashed upon the shoreline of the island, creating creases in the soft sand as it rumbled onto it. Foot prints were buried into the sand, but the waves had gently rolled over them and slowly wore them away.

A song, soothing to the sound, was heard. Hummed.

Walking along the line of shore was a woman, hair that cascaded passed her shoulder and split in half so that some of it draped over her shoulder. Her hair was red, and it blended well with the surroundings of the little town behind her that was finally brought into the sunlight. Ocean blue eyes gazed out distantly to the waves out far, the waters coming towards her and brushing over her bare feet. A dress was what she wore. In the light, it looked almost a light pink but otherwise it was a violet color, reaching only half way down her thighs. In her hand she carried a small pair of pink sandals, prevented from getting wet.

Today was the girl's fifteenth birthday, and being up so early was only a part of her celebration. The other half was with her other shared cell, only a few minutes older than herself at birth. Her other half had never really taken a liking to getting up this early, but then again…

What teenaged boy would?

A small smile came onto her lips, spreading from ear to ear as soon as the sun poked it's entire self out from under the world. Today was the day. And she was fully ready to take whatever challenge bestowed her.

"Kilani!!" cried a voice of a young boy. Turning around, the girl blinked as she held that one object she had found only moments ago. At the sight of the brownish blonde boy, a grin came.

"Reino! What is it?" she asked, her voice soft.

The boy stopped in front of her, and crossed his arms broadly over his chest. "Promise me something, okay?" Kilani hesitated for a second, wondering what it was that her brother wished for her to promise. Carefully, she nodded her head. "If you eat that, then on our fifteenth birthday we have to go visit that cave that Uncle Sora found when he was fourteen!"

The red headed child blinked, glancing down to the fruit that sat in her hands. It took her a minute to respond, but when she did, she nodded and looked up with a smile. "I promise!"

Little did she know, the fruit that she held so dearly was something that would change her destiny forever if eaten….

A Paopu Fruit.

"He-ey!!" came a voice that seemed to over shroud her thoughts. Kilani turned, only to see her brother running to her with his arm waving high into the air.

A grin came onto her lips.

"Hey there, Reino." the teenaged girl spoke softly as the one known as Reino came to an ubrupt stop in front of her. A huge grin on his face.

"Today's the day! And you better not have forgotten your promise." the brownish blonde boy grinned confidently.

Kilani shook her head and giggled softly. Why would she ever forget a promise like that? Whatever promises she made, she swore to keep no matter what it was. "By the way, Reino." This got her twin brother's attention, and his head immediantly cocked to one side.

"Happy fifteenth birthday!"
