Sasuke to Naruto
In my childhood,
My days were murky,
My nights were lonely,
My life was empty.
In my youth,
My days were dark,
My nights were torture,
My life was revenge.
In my teens,
My days were brightened,
My nights were hopeful,
My life was better.
Then I was corrupted,
I lost my Sun,
And my spiral turned downward.
In the snake lair,
My days were dark,
My nights were torture,
My life was revenge.
Revenge was empty,
My Sun was gone,
All was lost,
To my mistakes.
The clouds then cleared,
My Sun came back,
And life returned.
With my Sun,
My days are happy,
My nights are lust filled,
My life is perfect.
My burning light,
My passionate heat,
My heart will always,
Belong to you.
Naruto to Sasuke
We were both alone,
Both lost in darkness,
Both seeking for more,
Both in different directions.
We didn't know,
How to love,
How to shine,
How to grow,
So our rivalry grew.
Always arguing,
Always fighting,
Never knowing the truth.
I thought I only wanted,
Acceptance,
Compassion,
Kindness.
I thought my world was broken,
Always alone,
No one to talk to.
Then the moonless nights came,
True darkness settled in,
And the truth was revealed.
What I thought was rivalry,
Was love.
What I thought was loneliness,
Was longing.
What I thought was darkness,
Was a hidden light.
When my moon returned,
I wanted to give you everything,
But I had cut myself off.
Getting caught,
Being forced to comd back,
Resting in your arms.
I can only hope,
By giving you all of myself,
Mind, body, and soul,
It is enough to deserve you.
This is meant to be two short little tid-bits that Naruto and Sasuke recite to each other... I was thinking maybe they would end up being wedding vows or something, but I want some feedback and maybe suggestings on what I need to change, or if the perspective that it has is okay.
