Dark
It was just a normal day at school thought Dark. The kids talking in little groups or running amuck causing trouble and the teasing. Yep just a normal day at Mareland Elementary. One of the kids called out,
"Hey Dark want to blow something up? I know a pony who doesn't need his house." "Oh be quiet" Replied Dark. This happened every day so Dark was used to it, but it still made him kind of angry that they still thought after four years that he was a mean pony.
It was really annoying because it was Dark's brother that was the mean one. Yet only Dark and his sister, Celia knew this. Dark's brother, Jynx was the type of pony that was one way around adults and another way around fillies.
Another one of the teasing boys asked,
"Hey Drake you in?" They had gone too far there, He hated to be called Drake He called himself Dark, why couldn't they? Dark decided to ignore them. What good is getting in trouble? Dark thought to himself. He should just move on, and he did, ignoring the teasing.
Later that day Dark wondered to himself, why did he have to be born as a mainly black pony, and the red on his wings didn't help. They thought he was mean just because his skin pallet was black, but at least there was one pony that knew Dark as he really was.
That pony is named Amethyst Haze. Dark and her had been dating for a few weeks, but they were already very close. As Dark thought about Amethyst he realized that when they started dating, Jynx started to become super mean. Dark was good at making connections so he wasn't surprised he had figured this out, but what did surprise Dark was that Jynx was jealous of him.
