When he looked into the princess's eyes he saw that she motioned to the right. With this one motion and the look in her eyes, he saw that she wanted him to live. It would tear her up inside, but she wanted him to live more than she wanted her own happiness. He looked at the right door and thought about his life ahead. He would be married to some woman he did not know and would never love more than he had the princess. He thought it was a hollow future without the love of his life. He turned back around to look at the princess once more and said, "I know you want me to be happy, but I will never be happy if I cannot have you." He gave her an apologetic look and in that moment he knew that she understood why he could not live. Why he would rather die than be forced to love someone that was not her. He knew that she forgave him as she gave him a small nod with tears rolling down her cheeks. He held his head high as he walked to the left door and made his bravest and final stand. As he opened the door the giant tiger came out and was ready to rip his limbs off. Unnoticed by everyone else because of the scene of the tiger, the princess slipped down the stairs and ran into the arena. She burst through the door and ran to her true love in the middle of the arena. He awaited her with open arms. As they awaited their fate she looked into her true love's eyes and said, "I cannot live without you either."
