Perseus and Theseus
Perseus and Theseus, two of the greatest demigods in all of human history next to Orion and Achilles, Perseus, a son of Zeus and Theseus, a son of Poseidon.
However both of these heroes weren't the first to be given these names as there were once two men with these names, but that was a long time ago and this is where our story starts.
Flashback (Third Person POV)
Two men were standing in a dark empty space with nothing surrounding them, they both looked furious and seemed ready to tear each other apart.
"I accepted you as my brother Theseus, I gave you your realms and powers and I made your very existence possible by forging the very universe that created you, we even gave each other names and identities as a way to show respect to one another and this is how you repay me?" the man on the left replied on the verge of tears.
"You had this coming Perseus" the man on the right growled, "how could I stand by and watch you become so powerful, I deserve the realms of Time and Space more than you and I will not tolerate being second best any longer so surrender your realms and I won't have to kill you"
"What are you talking about Theseus?" the man on the left said his sadness turning to confusion "you more than anyone should know that I could never experience death and even if I could, haven't you done enough damage already?" he said his confusion becoming anger.
"Oh how oblivious you are Perseus have you not realised who has betrayed you yet?" the man on the right, Theseus said, "no? Well no matter and to answer your previous question it is true that you are very resistant to physical harm and even if I could wound you it would not last long however, SHE believes that emotional pain will kill you stone dead and force your spirit to separate from your body unable to ever return".
The man called Perseus that stood on the left seemed even angrier and even more confused, "and who is this SHE huh?" he asked mad at someone betraying him, "and how could SHE cause me such a large amount of emotional pain?" Perseus continued sure that Theseus didn't know what he was doing.
Theseus only smiled with a pink glint in his eye "I am the deity ruler of evil, anger, war and bloodlust brother, I am the third deity to be created and not powerful enough to kill you, SHE on the other hand is the deity ruler of Love, emotion, appearance, heartbreak and beauty, with our combined powers we can perform such a tremendous betrayal of love, trust and family that will wipe out your very existence, it is such a good plan SHE came up with" Theseus said the pink glint glowing brighter.
"But who is SH…" Perseus said before he stopped talking and his eyes widened in realisation "it can't be" he said but he was replied with a "oh but it is…husband" before Perseus was stabbed from behind by a third voice, Perseus could only look down to see two prongs belonging to his wife's symbol of power a trident with the edge prongs the longest ones and as the emotional pain caused his body to disintegrate he could only hear the sound of his wife, Melody laughing.
