Author's Note: Written for Leverageland's Hiest #6 "Sophie Devereaux: The Finest Actress You've Ever Seen" prompt. Take's place sometime after the Maltese Falcon Job but before the Jailhouse Job. I know that John Rogers explained that despite what she told Nate, the code Sophie used to get into Parker's warehouse wasn't actually her real name, since fans - myself included - were trying to guess her name from the numbers. However, the name I chose coincidentally has the same number of letters...

Sophie Devereaux had stolen the Dagger of Aqu'abi (there was a small issue about actually getting to keep it...), she'd maintained two separate identities on a long con, she'd stolen countless paintings and grifted even more marks, but she had never heard any of the team call her by her real name. It was time for that to change.

"Before we start the briefing, I have something I want to tell you." Sophie said to the team gathered around the briefing table in Nate's recently renovated apartment. Minus Nate of course, since he was at Rockford prison doing time for getting caught. Three pairs of eyes turned to her, interested and unsure of what she would say.

Sophie took a deep breath before continuing. "I've had hundreds of aliases, been hundreds of characters, and I haven't quite finished burying Sophie Devereaux yet but it's time you all know my real name."

"I bet it's something really cool!" Parker said excitedly.

Sophie smiled. "Thanks, Parker."

This was hard. She'd been Sophie Devereaux so long that it was difficult to let go of that person, though she would always have a part of Sophie in her. She almost chickened out but it was too late to turn back now. "My real name is... Blythe Cameron."

There was a long pause as the name sank in, each of them mulling it over in their minds and comparing it to the Sophie they knew. Sophie waited, holding her breath slightly. Eliot was the first to react, smiling a little.

"I like it. I-"

Sophie leveled her best mock glare at him. "Eliot, don't you dare say that you slept with a Blythe!"

"I was going to say one of my service buddies had a sister named Blythe. And, no, I didn't sleep with her." Eliot added when the three of them gave him a knowing look.

"It's cool." Hardison said, nodding. "Take some getting used to, but it's cool."

"I really like it." Parker grinned. "You look like a Blythe."

"Thanks, Parker." Sophie let out the breath she'd been holding. It went better than she had hoped, though truthfully she didn't really know what she'd expected. Eliot shifted his weight, watching her.

"Blythe. Blyyytthhe." Parker tested the name out on her tongue. The thief frowned slightly when she realized something. "Wait, so, what about Nate?"

"He hasn't earned it yet." Sophie replied, straightening up in her seat. Perhaps someday he will, she thought. "Alright, Hardison, run it."
