The things you wanted to say
You kept them inside of you
I had guessed that was just your way
You never say my name
And yet I'm with you all the time
Your voice sets me aflame
And I want to say you're mine
But I guess that can't be true
Because you never told me

Your secret is heartbreaking to see
And I wish you would have said something
I can't just let you be
I want to fix your broken wing
You run away so I can't see
But I don't want you to run
I want you here together with me
I want to be with you when it's done
So take me back to the place called home
And be with me even when I'm blue
I want our happiness to be everywhere and shown
Because it's over and now I can no longer say I never knew
