Four years…four long years I have been waiting…and now….I am ready.. My older sister Olympic told me all about new York, the lights, the music…it all sounds so…amazing…the humans are saying that I will be a legend, I never believed them, my sister said she would not be surprised if I did, I wanted to believe her but I knew there was no way I ever could.
Wednesday, April 10th humans are joining me for the journey to America. Suddenly I feel a wave of panic go through me, I am entrusted with the lives of over 2000 people, aswell as my own, however no matter how frightened I am, I must do this to prove myself.
The ocean I am travelling over is one of the most dangerous in the world, many other ships have met their ends out there, I do not want to meet the same fate. As I travel further into the sea Ice warnings start coming in, my captain, Edward John Smith isn't worries, like many others, he believes me to be unsinkable, I however cannot believe the human's negligence! They make me go faster just so I can beat Olympics' record time, I don't know why…this isn't a race…
Sunday April 14th 11:39pm
Okay…I admit it…I am kind of excited about arriving to America a day early, I am certain this will get good publicity for the company, a little while later I start to feel cold…there is ice around.. I now realise! Because I was blinded by pride we are all in terrible danger!. There were warnings of ice around and yet I did not listen!, I realise that whatever I hit opened a large gash in my side. It hurt so much!, the passengers thought I could stay alive long enough for help to arrive, however I knew the damage that had been done…I could never stand it…my wireless operators started sending calls for help, they got in touch with, Baltic ,Mount-Temple ,Frankfurt , Carpathia and Olympic. Carpathia said she'd come as quick as she could, Olympic also said she was coming, however neither would get here in time.
At 2:20am it was over, for me and 1500 people,
