Tornado Terror

Part 1: Tornado Escape!

Disclaimer: If I owned InuYasha, it wouldn't sell -_-'

"InuYasha!"

I turned around. The tornado had gotten closer. I saw Kaede's hut being sucked in. Kagome. She was too close to it. She was stumbling.

"I'll go help her." Miroku offered. He ran back a few feet. The tornado grew even closer.

"Hurry up!" I yelled. Sango and Shippou had already fallen prey to the monster. There's no time to think about that. Miroku and Kagome had fallen behind. The forest was coming closer. There was no where else to go. Even closer. Kagome tripped over a rock. Miroku stayed back to help her.

"Leave me and run!" she called to him.

He kneeled down beside her, trying to help her up.

"No."

Miroku hugged her, crying.

"InuYasha! Go, run, live… for me!"

Then they too, were swept away by the tornado. Warm tears ran down my cheeks. Kagome! I had no time to grieve. I couldn't outrun it. It was too close. I slid behind a huge tree. I sat down, hugging my knees and my head tucked to my chest. Panting, I waited for it to be over. Heavy winds blew past me. Flying debris hit me, staining my Haori with blood. The Tetsusaiga ( 鉄砕牙(Tessaiga)) blew away into the storm. The trees stayed in the ground, but shaking dangerously. I lifted my head higher to see better then, something hit the back of my head and the world went black.

Author's note: Iie means no in japanese and Hai means yes.

Pain. It was the first thing I felt. I heard faint sounds of men.

"Do you see anyone?" one man asked.

"Iie, lets go back." another replied.

I tried to move but a tree pinned down my body. I couldn't let them leave. I tried to yell and scream but no sound came out. I tried harder. I let out a muffled grunt.

"Did you hear that?" the first man asked.

"Hai, it seems like someone was alive! Lets look!"

"Hang on, buddy!" the first called out to me.

I let out another grunt. I looked up at the sky. It looked like it would rain. Then, a thunderbolt struck down and it began to rain. I coughed harshly, making it hard to breath. Something trickled from the side of my mouth. I coughed again, harder.

"I see a body!"

I thought they had finally found me.

"It looks like the Lord Monk's dead body," he said

No! I had to be found. But that thought, that image, it haunted me. Life. Life had no meaning without them. Without her, Kagome…she's dead, gone! Because of my selfishness. I WAS TOO SELFISH! Now she's gone…

"He's dead, must have been an animal."

Footsteps went back. I felt sick. I should have-could have saved them. I sensed an evil aura. Coming closer. I couldn't see any thing. I felt someone's slender fingers cover my mouth. I let out a muffled scream.

"Calm down, it won't hurt…Much."

I tried to breath. Kagome…wants me, living. Air! I needed air! Now! Air? No…I felt every thing fade.
