An Old Secret

Faragonda has an old secret. She gave up her beauty and youth like her ancestors to protect Alfea, but her beautiful elder daughter refuses to do the same and runs away with her father. Now dark forces are attacking Alfea and only the elder daughter can cast the spell to protect the school. The Winx set out to find her. Can they find her in time or will the school be doomed?

An Old Secret(Introduction)

Faragonda P.O.V.

" Powers of light,

please ignite,

and from this school

banish all evil and whatever doom.

Ancestors, hear my call,

help me protect this school

To never let it fall." I chanted, unleashing all my power. I saw a bright light burst out of my core and cover the whole school. I looked at my hands, accepting my fate. My hands grew old and wrinkly. I felt my beauty and very youth disappear.

I am Faragonda, a descendant of the ancient family that guards this school. So I must accept this curse. I must lose my beauty. I must lose my youth.

I walk back to my bedroom. I looked at my reflection in my full- length mirror. Or, at least I thought it was my reflection.

Long gone were my pale blond locks and beautiful sapphire eyes. Replacing them was white hair, bundled at the top of my head and dull blue irises. Instead of seeing my full, luscious pink lips and curvy body I saw thin pale lips and a straight, flat body. No more was my firm, slightly tan skin. I saw pale- almost white- skin, sagging at the joints.

I had lost my beauty and youth to the curse. I was only a shell of the woman I used to be. What did I have left? A husband and two daughters. Won't they have the shock of their lives.

End of P.O.V.

21 Years later...

"Principal? Principal! As I was saying..." continued the parent of Stella, princess of Solaria. "I will try to make the arrangements as soon as possible. Goodbye." said Principal Faragonda, extremely tired. "Alright then." Radius said, stepping out of the door reluctantly.

As the door closed, Faragonda thought about how she had told her beautiful elder daughter about the curse... How they had ran away... She looked at her second daughter, Jessica, just 17 years old, stifling a yawn. Her powers were starting to kick in. And because of almost miscarriage, her powers were just the opposite of good. She had different powers. She had bad powers. She was the fairy of blood.
