March 19. 1952. New York City.
On this day, the police found a shocking but almost heart wrenching sight that they had faced in the past five years. A police officer, identified as Sollux Captor, had his throat slit and was holding a young boy, later identified as the missing boy/murderer, Karkat Vantas, who had died from smoke inhalation. The pair had been found in a burnt down building, seemingly clutching each other as Sollux bled to death, and Karkat never leaving his side.
The murderers of these two men were discovered to be Karkats older brother, Gamzee Makara, and a younger man named Tavros Nitram. Both pleaded guilty in court and when asked why, Makara responded with this.
"My little bro and his man deserved to mother fucking be together like that." The clown laughed. "I wanted them to go peacefully, they deserved it after betraying their mother fucking brothers. Never betray your brothers."
Mr Makara and Mr Nitram have been sentenced to 40 years each in jail, but have been granted permission to share a cell and attend the Vantas and Captor funeral.
