In the land of Ooo, among the cupcake men and cotton candy clouds was a home on the edge of the candy kingdom - the home of Marshall Lee. He had magical powers that he used to float above the ground, hair so beautiful that it brought tears to Peppermint Butler's eyes, and his voice brought Gunter to his knees, or rather, flippers.

Marshall Lee was epicly awesome - like oh my Goob amazingness.

But the worst part was, Fiona totally knew it.

"What do you wanna do today?" Cake asked, sitting on one of Marshall's couches as Fiona laid on the ground, listening to Marshall strum some chords on his guitar.

"I don't know," Fiona mumbled, "Whatever you want to do I guess. I'd say visit Prince Gumball, but we did that yesterday."

"YOU DON'T KNOW?!" Cake screamed, "Honey, you have to know. You're Fiona, not Treetrunk, we can't be the boring ones!"

Marshall looked up from his strumming and voiced his opinion. "Yeah Fiona, what do you want to do today?"

She sighed and thought for a moment. "Let's sit in a tree!"

Cake agreed.

"YEAH!"

Both Fiona and Marshall climbed up a nearby tree later that night. The stars were shining brightly above them and Cake was sleeping at it's base. Marshall's hair was fluttering across his face, kissing his skin as the night got darker. His gray skin shone incandescently as Fiona stared off into the distance, trying her best to ignore the vampiric beauty next to her.

Fiona blew the strand of hair that blew in front of her face before letting out an awkward sigh. "So... how've you been?"

He gave out a little chuckle, his floating body shook a little above the tree branch they were resting on. "I've been good, I mean since we walked to this tree and all."

Fiona nodded understandingly. "Cool."

Marshall gave her a tentative smile and it took Fiona all her strength to look away. His pitch black eyes ementating warmth that she felt in her finger tips.

They sat in silence, staring out into the night sky, until Fiona realized that her head was resting on his shoulder, the ears of her hat tickling his ear.

"Hey, Fiona," Marshall mumbled.

"Yeah?" she replied.

"You wanna hear my new song?"

She gave him an encouraging smile, "Totally!"

"Awesome," Marshall grinned, taking out his bass.

Fiona watched as he strum his guitar and started singing a song about spiders and jam.

As he played his last chord he looked towards Fiona. "Whatcha think?"

"I think it's perfect," she said, blushing a little when he looked at her a little too earnestly for advice.

"Yeah, it was awesome!" Cake screamed from below them.

"That's good," Marshall replied, taking his spot back next to Fiona, laying his guitar on the other side of them, "If my best bro thinks it's prefect that it has to be!"

Her heart sank a little.

Marshall gave her one last smile before moving away and floated in front of her, "So as best bros I think we should go and fight some monsters. What do ya say?"

She gave nodded her head with as much enthusiasm as she could muster and jumped off.

Marshall and Fiona spent the rest of the day fighting space monsters and all was well.

That was my very first Adventure Time fanfiction! I started watching it a couple days ago and I just finished the gender swap episode and it was amazingly awesome and I just felt like writing something short and slightly crappy. I hope you enjoyed it!
