She wandered through more space than the Doctor was ever likely to see, covered more space than he ever would, though a multitude of universes, she wandered. She wasn't really going anywhere, just moving aimlessly though existence. Unchanging, unaging, moving about the multiverse in a TARDIS grown from a coral donated by the Doctor's ship, oh, so very long ago, now. She didn't pay attention to whether or not her ship should have been able to function in any given universe, the vortex was always the same in all of them and because she carried it within her, so did her ship...and so Beauty roamed wherever she felt like going and carried Rose along. Eventually they materialized next to something that made her catch her breath when she opened Beauty's door, locking eyes with someone else that seemed to be in shock.

It's mother. She says her thief was reset to an entirely new regeneration cycle...the body you see is number Four of the new cycle."

"16th Body, 15th Regeneration, Fourth Body, new cycle?" She asked quietly, 'hearing' confirmation from both ships and from the Doctor as he approached her, still standing in the open doorway of the adult version of that bit of coral he'd once given to his clone. She moved aside as she told Beauty to invite her mother to rest in one of her gardens. And let her daughter do the work for a bit.

"Yes, Rose Tyler. Beauty's mother has many things to say about her daughter's wandering about." Behind him, his own ship dematerialized and that had the Doctor's eyes grow worried.

"It's okay, told Beauty to invite her mum in. Nice, pretty garden for her and access to the repair bays."

"Ah. Where's your console?"

"Don't use one. Beauty does her own driving...so much safer that way, don't you think?"

He tried not to grin at her. "Oi. Less than ninety seconds in and already with the insults?"

Rose just smiled her heart pounding grin at him and he sighed. He still had no defenses.

"So, we're home, then?"

He nodded. "Yeah."

"Beauty, stay in this one. I want my Doctor back. We'll team up with this old idiot and your thankfully highly capable mum."

"OI!" He complained. "That's two!"
