Lifeboat

A poem from when Arnold saved Helga from drowning. (I'm not good at writing summaries. SORRY!) This is my first fan fic so be nice.

Hey Arnold Poem~

(This is based off of the episode when arnold saves helga from drowning)This is a poem I wrote yesterday when I was completely bored. Enjoy!

Holding on

Seems like all I can do.

Water's crashing down on me,

And I am slowly drowning.

I can barely breath,

So much pain in my chest.

She thinks i'm strong,

But I am truley weak.

I could give up and save myself,

BuI don't want to lose her.

instead, I hold on to her,

Because I know she needs me.

I am her lifeboat

And she is my passenger.

I know i am losing the battle.

It's me against the waves.

But when i think the water and darkness will consume me,

I see her face, so full of need.

It makes me stronger.

I push myself farther, ignoring my numb limbs and aching chest

I am her lifeboat.

Lifeboats protect and save.

She is my passenger,

So i protect her till the end.
