I Love This Darkness
It was rather easy to kill him. Or eliminate him, which ever you prefer. He wasn't human after all, only the living shell of one. A nobody. But still, I didn't frown upon him as I neatly sliced him in half. No, in fact, I smirked, enthralled by the defeat of a powerful opponent, nobody or not. And my eyes danced with ferocious glee, the kind found only in the eyes of maniacs, as he burst into a cloud of darkness and white thorns. The battle was the kind that I raved about constantly. Engaging and satisfying. A perfect outcome too.
The calm that washed over me afterwards, however, had little to do with my successful battle. No that calm was owed to the man standing a ways away, leaning against a wall and, no doubt, smirking victoriously. Axel, my dearest nobody, holding half of all I am. He was most likely happy to have the other nobody, Zexion was his assumed name, gone. But as the lust of battle faded, the most primal form of lust took its place.
I turned and walked briskly towards him, darkness nipping lovingly at my heels. I smiled, wide and sadistically, as I saw him make the same motions. He came stalking forward as well, desperate already to meet me in this new battle. And meet we did.
His wild flames twirled and twined with the darkness that I encircled us with. His acid-green eyes danced like the fire he creates. He was happy to see me, as usual. At least he wasn't still thinking of Roxas. And I, the holder of this beautiful puppet's strings, tugged them hard, pulling his long red hair tightly, and brought him in for a brutal kiss.
It wasn't long until we were blazing, rolling, biting, and yelling, all whilst the darkness caressed and sheltered us like a tender mother. Axel wasn't shy, however, parting the darkness at our peak to show the world just how it was supposed to be between a nobody and his other half.
