Things that Pokemon teaches us

This is a short poem using the titles of the games. The poem doesn't exactly rhyme, but... oh well! Please enjoy it all the same!

~Pokemon Poem~

Friendships are diamond,

Memories are pearl,

And lifetimes are platinum.

Follow your heart,

And speak with your soul.

Whether you are black,

Whether you are white,

Be a friendly ranger,

Step out of the shadows,

And be kind like a guardian.

Remember that time can fade away into the darkness,

And the sky can start a revolution.

Never let your face turn red with anger,

Or blue with sadness.

Always stop to admire the fresh green grass,

And the yellow sunshine.

Every moment it gold,

Every teardrop is silver,

And every person's spirit is crystal.

Don't store your memories in a box,

Keep them with you, your emotions in a colosseum.

There's a grand stadium, called life.

Don't change the channel when something isn't done.

Always step back to admire your friends, for they are as the lovely ruby,

The shimmering sapphire,

And the precious emerald.

Let your energy burn like fire,

But your spirit remain calm as a leaf.

But still... Always remember... these are the things that Pokémon was teaching us all this time.
