I Love This Power

He was as beautiful as I remembered, sitting by the lake in the middle of the ghost town Uchiha District. I was tempted to rush into things, walking right out and overpowering him, but I knew he'd prefer it drawn out. And so I merely made my presence known, standing atop the light pole from which I watched that night.

His arms show me that he recognized my being there. The Sharingan was enough to tell me as his chakra flared violently. His attack followed soon after.

It didn't take me very long to defeat the child, even with his new and improved powers; he was still no match for me. Or perhaps he just didn't feel like fighting today. It was the anniversary of that night after all, and he was home, despite being outlawed from the Konoha as an S-Rank Missing Nin and added to the Bingo Book, now a target for the Anbu Black-Ops. It was almost touching, the amount of hurt his eyes still carried. I wasn't foolish enough to believe it was all, or even any of it was, for our deceased parents. No all that anger and betrayal was directed at me, for taking the idea of his beloved Aniki away from him.

But he stopped fighting as I initiated the first contact we'd had outside of fighting for years. Just a kiss, and he was already melting. I suppose that meant Orochimaru hadn't touched him yet, a fact that mean the snake could live another day.

Somehow, I managed to get us back to our old home, laying him down in the place where we spent many nights, as I protected him from the thunderstorms, my bed. He put up no resistance from that point on, giving into the comfort I offered. Comfort doused in blood, however, as I tied him up and sliced open his skin. Still, he didn't fight his Nii-san, as I placed my mouth to each wound and tasted his blood. Sasuke, would always be willing for me.
