Hey everyone. This story was brought to you by Herbology Hangout, and Our Tangled Webs on Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. For Herbology Hangout I wrote for Arranged Marriage Trope and dialogue of "If I do it, will you give me some peace?". For Our Tangled Webs I wrote for the pairing of Fred/Alicia. I hope you all enjoy A Forced Marriage.

"If I do it, will you give me some peace?" Fred yelled at his parents. They been speaking about his arranged marriage to Alicia Spinnet for some time now. The thing that upset Fred the most was that this was the first time either he or his intended were hearing about this arrangement.

"Son," Alicia's father said in a soothing tone of voice, "your parents and my wife and I are only doing what we see as best for you and our daughter. When you have children of your own..."

"I won't force their hand into something that they don't want," Fred shouted standing up. He knew that neither him or Alicia wanted to marry each other. Alicia had told him on numerous occasions that she always saw herself with George. Fred always personally saw himself with Angelina.

"Fred..." Molly gasped standing to confront her rage filled son.

"Don't Fred me, Mother," he shouted turning on his mother. "You and father should have told me about this when I was old enough understand what was going."

"Fred's right," Alicia shouted standing and whirling upon her own parents. "The lot of you should have told us about this sooner then now." She looked towards where Fred and George stood next to each other. Her eyes lingered on George though.

"We've already filed the contracts with the Ministry when you were both younger," her father said pointedly to Alicia. "They are binding and there is no way out of them. Tomorrow we will begin to plan your wedding whether you like it or not." He stood up and motioned for his wife to follow. "Come along, dear, this meeting is over."

"I'm so sorry, Fred," Alicia said as her parents steered her out the door.

Feeling a sense of dread and defeat at not being able to get out of this arrangement Fred and George walked out of the Burrow. It would be better for Fred to not be there for a little bit. Let things calm down before he talked to his parents again. But he knew one thing for sure. This was not going to be the last time this conversation reared it's head.

I hope you all enjoyed the first chapter of A Forced Marriage.
