Hiashi's Pov
You stood without while I remained inside
My cold, Grey world; the fortress I designed
From ice and pain and loss, and in my pride
Eyes that we meant to see so well were blind.
I judged you as unwrothy of your name
And cast you out, unwanted and despised.
I saw you only as a source of shame.
And scorned the pure, young heart I should have prized.
You grew before theses eyes that did not see
The strong and valiant light that came to shine
As bright as starlight.
Then it shone for me
And finally showed me that this child was mine.
That tendder, giving love I found that day
Is greater farther than I can repay...
I just hope this man will prize her as well.
