Chapter one:
Big surprises.
"Isabella Hartley to the principal's office; Isabella Hartley to the principal's office." said the intercom loudly. "What?" asked Bella. "Did they mix you up with Bella?" Cleo asked Rikki. Rikki laughed. Bella walked down to the principal's office. Bella knocked on the cold, mahogany door. "Come in," said Principal Denman. Bella opened the door, not knowing she was standing in front of a scientist that knew her secret. Bella sat down on the chair in front of the desk.
"I have noticed you have been spending a great deal of time with Cleo Setori and Rikki Chadwick." the woman said. "Yes, that's true ma'am." Bella said, wondering why she was bringing this up.
"Well, I also have noticed some fishy"- Bella shifted in her chair as she said this-"stated by-" "Will," Bella interrupted.
"Yes,"
"Who are you?"
"A principal, what do I look like?"
"Not a principal, that's for sure,"
Denman laughed.
"You know,"
"Yes,"
"How?"
"A boy named Lewis,"
Bella's eyes almost bulged out of her head.
"I want something,"
"What, my tail, I can show you my tail."
"Sure, that would be nice,"
The woman just said that as if I asked her to go on a walk to the park…. Thought Bella.
Denman handed her a glass of water. Bella poured it on herself. Ten seconds later, her tail appeared.
"So, what do you think Bella's in there for?" asked Rikki. "I don't know, maybe like…a mix-up with another student I-" "Rikki, Cleo!" yelled Mr. Blake, their history teacher. "you have been talking this whole entire class!" "I'm sorry Mr. Blake but-" "Enough with your excuses, to the Principal's office, now!" Cleo and Rikki sighed, but headed up to the Principal's office.
Cleo raised her hand in order to shake the door, but Rikki just let herself in. Cleo followed Rikki, saw the face of the principal, and screamed at the top of their lungs.
