Junior year, just one more year of jocks, drugs, and drama. Of course living in Tree Hill, basketball is also added to the list. Being the daughter of Nathan Scott, basketball is obviously "in my blood" as so many people tell me. I love to shoot around on the rivercourt, but other than that I'd rather be on the sidelines. I am the Captain of the cheer squad, and I love to play volleyball.
As I walk into the cafe, I can smell the aroma of fresh baked goods and I know I am starving. Like usual, the cafe is busy so I have to put on an apron and get to work. Sitting at the counter are my two annoying little brothers, Brendan is 14 and Jack 13. Brendan lives on the basketball court and honestly might become better than my Dad (but I didn't tell you that one.) Jack is still really good, but he is an amazing hockey player. My older brother Jamie is 24. He went to Duke and played college baseball, but never went pro. He is now currently engaged to Madison, his crush since kindergarten.
My mom is always busy running the cafe and Red Bedroom, but with Aunt Peyton living here again she isn't as busy. Her singing career is over, but from time to time loves to bust out on the piano at home.
"Do you need anything else?" I ask. "Well you can go tell your mom that this place sucks and so do you." I should have expected that from Lacey. Lacey Peterson, my enemy since from whenever I can remember. Of course who is sitting next to her, my ex Jude Baker.
Why wouldn't they be going out? We broke up three weeks ago, I'm actually surprised they didn't go out sooner. Jude is blushing and you can tell he is ashamed that she just said that.
To be completely honest, Jude is probably using her for sex and to get to me. He knows that we envy each other. I just walk away and try to not let it get to me.
