As I walked through the short hallway, I noticed the fear radiating through the walls.
I walked further through the halls to see a devastated Alice and Bella, huddled over each other at the end. There was no way out of this hallway, were we would surely die.
This was the ending for us and I knew it. As we curled together I heard a shot and a scream. Esme.
I grabbed Alice and Bella and saw the window not far down in a turn of the hallway, they jumped down from my arms and ran. I broke the glass of the window with my heel and we jumped three stories through the air towards the ground, desperate for an escape.
The Nazi's had come for us.
