Weeeel, instead of working on TTH, I did this. Sorry.

Enjoy my random brain, and please make sure to check that the temperature is at least 240 degrees before said enjoying.

-The Other's View-

The faint noise from below her alerted her all was not as it should be. She brought her bat around, and peered down. Several dots, mayhaps seven at the least, filtered into the stadium. Two in back, looking much like humans, were looking blinded, the biggest holding the hand of the smaller, whom sat on a crawler. A new question popped into her head. "Who are they, and what are they doing here?"

The dull gold ball that had been the center of concern bounced from flyer to flyer, until it zipped over to her bat. The proud beast looped, and tucked a wing, slapping it with the other. It zoomed down, and so did she and her bond. The ball bounced, and the smallest figure ran after it, crying out, as if it wanted to catch the sphere. She and her bat were faster.

They swooped down, and caught the ball before the small child could get to it, spiraling back into the air for another pass. Her bond mumbled something, and she nodded. The flyer tipped upside down, and she let loose her hold, falling, twisting, and flipping. She made a good landing, though it could have been lighter, and held her hand out. The ball landed squarely in it, and she made a tiny smirk at the human's, a boy, face. It was amusing at most.

They stood there, the boy looking unsure, she, herself, calculating every move he made. She wasn't too sure it would be until he made a move, when something bulled into her legs. Her eyes flickered to the small child, whom had done it, "So you want to play?" she thought almost snidely, and crouched down, holding the ball out to the child.

The youngling was eager, and tugged at her fingers, trying to get to the toy. She failed. This was somewhat entertaining, until the child said some foreign word, and poked her in the eye. She staggered back, and got to her feet unhappily. The boy sniggered, and said something smart. She reacted aptly, and he said one of his foreign words. She took it as an apology.

He told her his name, and the child's, "Hmm, Gregor... it has a certain ring to it," something mumbled in the back of her mind. She introduced herself, and he made a small fool of himself trying to pronounce it.

She almost sighed when he argued with her, telling her he needed to go home. "Yes, I understand this, but you cannot go. Now, shut up, you Overland simpleton!" her brain screamed every time he tried to argue. He even tried to grumble when she told him he needed to bathe. Was he daft? Did he not know there were dangers, even several miles beneath the surface of the world?

An unhappy grumble sounded in her head. Were all Overlanders like this? And she knew the answer immediately: "Yes,"

-O-

A view point on how Luxa thought of Gregor and Boots when they showed up. Totally not original, I know, but I wanted to write a one shot.

Oh, yeah, and when I was reading through the first book, when Vikus is giving Gregor the low down on the currents, and Gregor asks: "What if the timing is off?" and Vikus says, "Then we would have a body to bury instead of a guest," now it gave me one idea: All missing people never found, fell into the freakin' Underland! Pure genius!

Anyways, did you like my random brain? I think it'd be better with a bit of A1, don't you think? XD
