Natsume and Mikan
I felt a warm hand stroke my shoulder down to my elbow repeatedly. The muscular touch engraved in my head, I knew it was my husband Natsume. His warm breath blew me on my forehead as he breathed deeply. His smell lingering all over me. I opened my eyes slowly. My first sight every morning was that of my love. The warm sunlight radiated his toned arms which then wrapped themselves around my waist protectively. Our legs intertwined. My hands on his chest. I was in heaven every morning, every minute when I was with him. My hands slowly moved up to touch his cupids bow, and then circled his full lips. As I caressed his smooth tanned skin, his long slanted eyes opened. His burning red eyes like that of a maple leaf gazed into mine. We lay like this for minutes until he spoke softly and lovingly, "Ohayo Mikan". I smiled and replied with "Ohayo". He moved in closer towards my face and his lips parted slowly. I could feel his breath on my lips and trembled as I opened my lips to accept him, almost like a reflex. He was warm and sweet. His kisses showed how much he treasured me. His gentle movements made me feel precious. As our lips parted, I opened my eyes and moved to his ear, gently speaking, "I love you".
He cupped my face and smiled that cheeky smile that I adored. Making my heart skip a beat, he chuckled and said, "last night said it all polka". My cheeks flushed as I felt myself get hotter. I scrunched my eyebrows and pushed his strong chest away in annoyance. "Seriously Natsume you never change" trying not to smile. I turned away to face our balcony. His finger started to trace the outline of my bare back. Warm kisses were placed lovingly across my back, rising towards my neck. I flinched in shock. He chuckled once more and tightly bounded me between his long arms, squeezing his chest against me. I couldn't help it. I reached for his messy long bed hair and stroked it.
This was love. A love hard earned after all the troubles we faced going back in time to find our friends. A love that faced many obstacles. We were finally one in marriage at the age of 23.
Suddenly a high pitched loud cry was heard. My eyes widened and I jumped up, Natsume was two steps ahead of me and out of bed. He reached his hands down an oak cot and picked up a small feeble body. So gently, it almost made me envious.
It was our baby. Our small beautiful child, our symbol of love. I knew that with Natsume and our baby girl Sawa, my life was complete.
