"It's beautiful." She said in awe. He looked at her and swallowed hard yes, she was. She was more beautiful than anything he had ever seen. He slowly lifted his hand and brushed a piece of hair out of her face.

The team was driving back from their latest case. Tony had asked Gibbs in advance if he could take Ziva on a detour to get home. He had said it was fine as long as they were back by the next day.

Tony sat in the driver's seat. Ziva in the passenger's frustrated that she couldn't drive. She looked out the window and noticed they were pulling into a state park.

"Tony, what are you doing? Gibbs said we would be back by dinner time and its six o'clock! Where are we?" She asked in frustration. Tony silently got out of the car. He walked to the trunk and pulled out a picnic basket from the trunk. Then he walked to Ziva's side and opened the door for her. She got out, still confused.

He grabbed her hand and led her down a long, narrow path. After walking for about ten minutes he suddenly stopped and set the basket down.

"What is going on Tony?" Ziva asked in frustration.

"You are going to have to wait." Tony whined as he pulled a handkerchief out of the basket. He wrapped it over her eyes, after much disapproval from Ziva. After picking up the basket again, he led her down a hill to the edge of a cliff. He slowly pulled the handkerchief away.

She opened her eyes and looked out. Directly below her was a pool of clear, crisp, blue water. On the over side was a magnificent waterfall, feeding into the pool. Walls of rock were all around the pool, with only a small space that leads the water out into a lake or river. The sun was visible over the edge, with the tip of the sun kissing the horizon. The rocks shone in different shades of brown, pink, purple, and blue.

"It's beautiful." She said in awe. He looked at her and swallowed hard yes, she was. She was more beautiful than anything he had ever seen. He slowly lifted his hand and brushed a piece of hair out of her face. Then slowly, she turned to face him. Their faces came closer, slowly. Their noses brushed each other, and then he captured her lips with his. She kissed back before pulling away, resting her forehead on his. She smiled. He smiled back.

Then he sat down on the edge of the cliff, with his feet dangly over then edge. She did the same, resting her head on his shoulder as he wrapped his arm around her waist. Together they watched the sun slowly disappear behind the cliff.

This would be one place they would never forget.
