The house was dark. Very dark. The kids shuffled forwards and looked around. The house was on the top of the hill by their neighbourhood. The kids parents had always told them not to go there because it was haunted. Yeah right the kids always thought. The group of children well they were all over fifteen consisted of:
James (20) Scot (20) Jasmine (19), Kevin (19), Luke (18) and finally Christine Daae (18).
James was tall with blonde hair and loved golf and Scot was his twin brother looked the same he however liked motorbike racing.
Jasmine was a pretty girl who was a tomboy and she always wore her black hair tied up in a bobble with a baseball hat on.
Kevin was tall for his age and had brown hair and he lived for football and rugby,.
Luke was also tall for his age and was training to be a builder.
Christine Daae was by far the prettiest girl in the neighbourhood, with long curly brown hair and big blue eyes, she had a childlike appeal to her appearance but at the same time was very grown up as well, she was smaller than some girls but taller than others, she was training to become a professional singer.
James got his torch out and the others did the same. "You guys we shouldn't be here." Christine called as they all began to go in different direction. They turned round and Scot mimicked. "Oh guys we shouldn't be here! Grow up Chris!"
"Yeah Chris we all know this place isn't really haunted!" Jasmine scoffed. Christine sighed realising that this would get her nowhere and it really was too late to go back now. They had climbed in through a window and she wouldn't be able to get down on her own. She also knew she couldn't leave because she had told her father she was sleeping over at Jasmines. Well she was. When they got back. She sighed and went towards the others.
"Okay Chris you head downstairs into the basement meet here when you've looked round." Kevin told her. Christine nodded and walked down the stairs…..And into the basement.
When she stepped down she gazed round. There were barrels and the floor was stone. "Hello?" She called to the darkness. As she expected no reply.
"Hello? Hello?" She called as she walked round the basement. Again no answer.
"Well what did I expect?" She asked herself.
"I don't know what DID you expect?" A voice asked. She screamed and spun around. No one.
"I'm going crazy." She mumbled rubbing her forehead before heading back upstairs.
"No your not." The voice called into the darkness.
