I have no idea where this came from, so don't ask. I was just sitting here at my computer and felt the need to write, and here we are. I guess it's an AU drabble, because this really doesn't work against the AWE plotline. Right then, have fun!
Disclaimer: The closest things I own to Jack, Will, or Elizabeth are mini action figures. Don't worry, I'll get over it one day.
"Oy! Eunuch! Get your lazy self off the deck an' do somethin' useful!" Jack shouted as he swung down from the rigging, landing next to two lovebirds nestled in a corner of the ship. Will rolled his eyes, and giving Elizabeth an apologetic look, got to his feet. Elizabeth pushed herself off the ground, glaring at the captain.
"For the last time, Jack, Will's not a eunuch!" she exclaimed, holding Will's hand possessively.
Jack sighed. He smirked, going through the usual routine, and asked, "Oh, and you would know personally?"
Elizabeth glanced at Will, a private smile donning her rose colored lips. "Yes."
Jack, expecting the usual answer, replied, "Well, then. 'Til you can tell me from personal exp….." he stopped, staring at the couple. Realization sunk in as Elizabeth looked at him expectantly. His mouth formed an 'oh'.
"Jack," Elizabeth said, looking at him with a raised eyebrow. The captain looked from Will to Elizabeth, then closed his mouth, smiling his classic Jack smile.
"Well, it's about bloody time!"
