Belarus was the image of the perfect little housewife. In an apron, and dress, with a bow in her hair. Married, and the mother of four beautiful young children.
She spent a lot of time bustling around this kitchen… A kitchen not in Russia's house. She stood at the sink, up to her elbows in suds. The house was quiet, and… She sighed softly, her thoughts drifting.
At times, she thought back on the time she spent in her brother's house. She loved her husband very much, and couldn't be happier in his house. But sometimes, it wasn't enough.
She wanted nothing more out of her life, other than to serve Russia, and make him happy. To be his housewife. No one else's, but Russia's.
Wiping her hands, she started drying the dishes, sighing again. Somewhere in the house, she heard a door open, and the sound of laughter. Little feet pattered across wood floors, and a pair of boots clomped after them.
Nothing more than to stay by his side. Make his meals, and bake him pies. She wanted to warm his bed at night, and make his bed in the morning. Wanted to iron his clothes and clean his house. She wouldn't cheat, She would only have eyes for her beloved Russia.
He could have hit her, she wouldn't have minded. She'd have stayed by his side. She would have. Through thick and thin. She wouldn't have minded yelling either. And he could have cheated! As long as she was the one he came home to at night. Anything for Russia. No tears, or 'why's, she'd have smiled every day of her life. All for a ring, and his word to love her forever…
A tear slowly slid down her cheek, and she set down the plate she was drying. Another tear followed, and then another, and another. She lowered her head, the tears falling onto the porcelain plate. A muffled sob escaped her lips.
The kitchen door swung open, and Belarus quickly wiped away the tears. She picked up the plate, and dried the droplets off the surface as four pairs of small feet ran to her side.
A/N: A bit of Back story for this, despite the fact it doesn't matter at all. In a roleplay Universe, Belarus is married to Prussia. Her four children are the Cities, Minsk, Dresden, Kiel, and Vetka (The two middle as German cities because Prussia is no longer a country)
