A/N: Another crack fic in the Alex Made Me Do It series, and my first AoS fanfic. It's probably OOC, and... Well, it's a bit weird. Hope you like it!

How to Science.

"I still don't understand why we have to go to Chile to buy copper," Skye told them.

"Because we're close and it's cheaper over there," Fitz repeated for the tenth time.

"But... You can afford all this!" She motioned to all the equipment around her.

"It's a crack fic, it doesn't make any sense!" Ward exclaimed.

"I thought you weren't supposed to break the Fourth Wall," Skye said.

"Since when do you follow the rules?" Jemma asked her.

"Uh..." Before Skye could come up with a valid answer, there was a weird whirring noise and a blue box appeared in the middle of the room.

"What the hell?" Coulson asked.

"Allons-y!" A man walked out of the box, then stopped abruptly when he saw all of them. "Oh."

"What?" A blonde woman peeked out of the box.

"Wait... You two were in there?" Skye asked. The two strangers nodded. "Kinky."

They both went red.

"Who are you?" Coulson demanded.

"I'm the Doctor! And this is Rose," the man answered.

"Hello." The blonde woman walked out of the box.

"Where are we?" The Doctor looked around.

"You're on my plane," Coulson replied.

"Uh, sorry, what year is this?" Rose asked.

"It's... 2013." Ward answered, confused. Crack fics really don't make any sense, he thought.

"See? Close!" The Doctor grinned at her.

"Uh... No, we're not. You said 23rd century. This is 2013."

"It has a three in it."

"Oh, shut up!" Rose laughed.

Coulson cleared his throat. "How did you get on my plane?"

"Oh, thanks to my ship." The Doctor pointed at the TARDIS. When he saw their faces, he added, "It's dimensionally transcendental."

At the rest of the team's confused looks, FitzSimmons explained, "It's bigger on the inside."

The Doctor beamed at them.

"Anyway, can we skip the typical questions? I think the author's getting tired of writing them," Sky commented.

"Doctor... Did she just break the Fourth Wall?" Rose asked, bewildered.

"If she's tired of writing them, then why is she doing this in the first place?" Ward was definitely confused.

"Dunno." Fitz shrugged. "Bloody authors."

Just then, in a very Monty Python and the Holy Grail way, May, who was in the other room, yelled, "Get on with it!"

"Right..." The Doctor clapped his hands. "So—"

He was interrupted by May walking in. "We're here."

"When did we land?" A confused Rose asked.

"Crack fic," Jemma reminded her.

"Get on with it!" May exclaimed before walking out of the room.

"Let's go, then," Fitz said.

"Allons-y!" The Doctor exclaimed happily.

"Oh, you're gonna make an experiment!" The Doctor exclaimed, a grin on his face.

"Yes. Easy experiments. We're continuing Skye's physics education." Jemma nodded.

"We're going to 'make copper disappear and reappear'," Fitz explained, in a way Rose and Skye would understand the purpose of the experiment.

"Oh! By mixing the copper with nitric acid—" The Doctor started.

"And then mixing the copper ions with a sodium hydroxide solution—" Jemma continued.

"And then heat up copper hydroxide—" Fitz continued.

"Only to heat up the copper oxide and bring the original copper back," the three of them finished.

Rose and Skye exchanged looks.

"This is confusing," Skye commented.

"Agreed." Rose nodded.

"Want to watch a movie?" Skye proposed.

"Sure."

And that's how Skye (and Rose) freed themselves of attending the experiment FitzSimmons had planned for Skye (and the one the Doctor wanted Rose to see).
