Warning: This is very loosely based off of Infamous, don't expect much.

The pink light whipped around his body, and he grinned. He was beginning to like what it. It was an essence. A different...creature. He did not control it, it merely complied to his sincerest wishes. Right now, his wish was to kill the people in front of him.

"Daniel Matias Hawkins, surrender now,"the voice echoed in the parking garage, as soldiers slowly attempted to surround him, avoiding the essence.

"You're not going to tell me to put my hands up?"Daniel says smugly, and the essence grows stronger, feeling the tension.

"This is your last warning. Stop with the you're little rainbow powers and surrender to us. Failure to comply will cause us to be forced to terminate you."

"Termination? Oh my, I am very scared. Going to hurt a minor now, are you! Will my face haunt your dreams, leaving you screaming in the middle of the night? Or will you die in this sorry parking lot? Either way, I'm okay with it."

He felt the bullets before he saw them. Blood spurted from his chest, but immediately, the pink light removed the trespasser, and binded his chest back.

"Is that all you got!"Daniel snarled.

"Because if it is, you're going to be a damn sorry mess by the end of this."

He wiped the blood off his jacket, but only succeeding to stain it more. He spat on the ground, kicking a helmet across the lot, and laughed.

"The janitors are going to have a hell of time."

He turned around, firing a blast of the essence, but it was caught up in….someone's elses.

Daniel slowly backed away, faced with an auburn haired woman, who slowly approached, blue light crawling through the cracks in the cement.

"I'm afraid your little show of powers are….disturbing. We don't want to draw the authorities any closer to the remnants…."

"Is that what you call the essence?"Daniel questions, the woman, and she smirks.

"There's so much more you need to learn in order to understand. It's unfortunate that you won't have time. Come little one."

Immediately, the light surrounding Daniel fades, and the woman's light grows brighter. His hand thrusts out for another blast, but nothing happens.

"What did you do!"Daniel screams at her, but she keeps approaching.

"You will not be tolerated by me. You will not be tolerated….by us."

There was a flash, and Daniel was nothing but smoke.

"The deed has been done. But I'm afraid this massacre won't go unnoticed."
