Matt rolled out of bed and reached for his jeans in the same motion. His thighs quivered and more than one area of his body ached-not that he would admit that. There was no room for words with what they did, no matter how big or small.
From across the room he heard the blond tending to his own clothing, surely readying himself for another night as the local Don.
Matt allowed a mirthless smirk to grace his face as he tugged his boots on. Who else could say they had relations with a mob boss and not have their head blown off-rather unpleasantly-at the end of it?
The only problem?
Matt felt the cold stare on his back and turned. Mello inclined his head. Same time tomorrow? Matt nodded. Sure. And then the blond was out the door with his jacket barely tugged to cover his bared skin.
Matt pulled out a pack of smokes and lit one with the cheap motel matches.
The only problem...Matt had a hard time closing himself off.
To the sometimes soft touches. The slipped words when the blond was intoxicated or pissed off. The look of beautiful euphoria that only graced Mello's face after rough violent sex...
Matt could close himself off just like Mello did...
But unlike someone who no longer had a heart, his broke with every word not spoken.
Matt pulled the goggles down over his eyes and headed for the door. He would be there tomorrow night. And every other night he was asked.
