It was a fantastic day at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. All the children rushed into the pizzeria and started to go wild. That was until, a security guard who was working day-shift noticed an upset boy running across the hallways. Confused, he walked towards the boy in Kids' Cove and asked, "Hey, what's wrong?"
The boy, who was still in tears, pointed towards the other side of the hallway where other children were laughing at him, spreading insults and threats towards the boy. The boy kept weeping harder and harder, until the guard told the boy that he will deal with the situation. The guard then walked to the children and asked them to stop bullying. But it was too late.
The boy in Kids' Cove screamed in sheer terror as a loud, metallic crunching sound was heard in the same room. The guard and all the parents ran to the scene. There was a pile of blood, with the boy's body slumped over and Mangle was towering over him, with his sharp, metallic teeth. The boy's frontal lobe had been bitten while the guard talked to the children.
After The Bite of '87, Fazbear Entertainment set up specific rules about touching the animatronic characters. Since then, the animatronics were only allowed to walk around at night-time.
