Hello everyone! I've decided to continue the crossover of Cardfight Vanguard and Arcana Familiga! There is going to be a different plot to this story. Before this story starts, I would like to extend my thanks to HarukaChan012 and the two reviwers for encouraging me to continue writing this story and giving me various ideas! So without further ado, let's start this story!
Normal POV
It was finally a normal day after Aichi's disappearance and now he was back. Everyone remembered him at last. Aichi was going to school as usual as he entered his class.
" Good morning!"
He went to set his bag on his table as Naoki approached him.
" Yo!"
" Good morning, Naoki-kun." Aichi greeted
" I'm just glad you're finally back. It took awhile but we did it!" Naoki said
" I'm also glad that everything's already finished... Being alone at the sanctuary is really... But I'm just glad I can finally come back again." Aichi said
" Yeah! Oh yeah. Did you hear? There's a new science sensei taking over our class." Naoki said
" I also heard that there are three new students joining our school... Odd..." Aichi said
" Yeah... Oh, the sensei is here. See ya later." Naoki said
" Yeah."
They started class as the new student was introduced.
" Come in."
The female student entered as she wrote down her name.
" Hello, everyone. My name is Felicita, and I came from Italy to study in Japan. I hope to be able to work together with everyone." Felicita greeted
" Felicita-san, your seat is next to Sendou." Sensei said
" Yes!"
She went to the seat beside Aichi as she looked over to him while Aichi just replied with a smile before going back to listening to class. Soon, it was their science class as their new teacher entered. He took off his hat and placed it on the desk before writing his name.
" Hello, everyone. My name is Luca. I will be teaching you all science from now on. Then, let's go to page 112 in your textbook." Luca instructed
They all did as instructed as Aichi did the same as other students. Felicita took out her own book as she managed an eye contact with Luca and ushered his gaze to Aichi, who was still flipping the pages.
" After the recent event, everything has gone back to normal. But... There's something I can't put my finger on... It's bothering me too much! I need to concentrate on this and the club!" Aichi thought
He continued to listen to the lesson as they came to a question.
" Uh... Sendou-san, please write down the answer to this question on the board." Luca said
" Y-Yes!"
He stood up and walked over to the board and started to write.
" This should buy some time to find out whether he is the one." Luca thought
But before he could do anything, Aichi had already placed the chalk down.
" I finished writing." Aichi said
" A-Ah... C-Correct. You can go back now..." Luca said
" Yes."
" As expected of Aichi... He wrote that in 10 seconds in one shot..." Naoki muttered
Aichi walked back and sat down on his seat as Felicita inwardly face palmed and sweat dropped without him noticing.
" Luca..." Felicita thought
The lesson continued as the period finally ended for their lunch. Aichi packed his bag and took out his lunch box.
" Aichi. Let's go." Naoki said
" It's been awhile, so Kourin-san is coming over after her idol activity. She should be arriving soon. Misaki-san is at the roof waiting for us." Shingo said
" Okay!"
" Oh yeah. Some of our friends are coming over today. They wanted to fight here for today, so I don't think it's a problem, right?" Naoki ask
" Sure. They're always welcome to our club for fights." Aichi said
" Then, let's go to the roof!" Shingo said
" Yeah!"
Aichi and the others went up the roof to eat their lunch.
" Aichi. Come on. We prepared lunch for you." Misaki said
" B-But you didn't have to..." Aichi said
" Don't be like that. Hurry up or the lunch will turn cold." Kourin said
They opened the lunch boxes as most of the lunch was complimented as always.
" Thanks for the meal!"
" It was delicious!" Naoki said
" That was the best!" Shingo said
" Misaki-san and Kourin-san, thank you for the meal!" Aichi thanked
" You're welcome." Kourin said
" It was no problem." Misaki said
" Oh, look at the time! Aichi, let's go. We'll meet each other back at the club room then! See ya later!" Naoki said
He grabbed Aichi's wrist and ran back to class as Kourin and Shingo followed along after cleaning up. In the shadows, two figures were observing them.
~ After school~
Aichi was packing his bag as the class chairwoman approached Felicita.
" Felicita-san, our school has a rule where each student has to join a club. Here's the list." She said
Felicita looked through the paper as Naoki approached Aichi.
" Aichi! Let's go! The Cardfight Club is waiting for its Captain to return." Naoki said
" Yeah!"
They exited the class as Felicita overheard the conversation and handed the paper back.
" I'll join the Cardfight Club." Felicita said
" I see. I'll inform their sensei then. But there's a requirement to join the club, you'll have to defeat one of the members in the club in a fight." She explained
" Yeah. I'll do that. Thanks." Felicita said
She got up and left as she met up with her other friends at the back of the school.
" Luca, you could've given him a more difficult question!" Felicita scolded
" I'm so sorry, Milady! I didn't expect him to answer so quickly!" Luca said
" He's unexpectedly smart... So we can't use the teaching method to see whether he is really our Young Master. We'll have to use some other method to find out then. Maybe... We could try using your Arcana powers, Fel." Nova said
" But I'll only be able to find out what his thoughts are. It won't be of any use." Felicita said
" Looks like we're all out of ideas..." Liberta said
" But I did join the club he's in. It's called the Cardfight Club. I'm going later to join but there's a requirement... It's going to be difficult." Felicita said
" Then why don't we all join? Except for Luca, it'll be a good choice." Liberta suggested
" It's good but don't give too much suspicion. We'll just closely monitor him just in case." Nova said
" But what are the taracco he has again?" Liberta ask
" Here. I knew you'd ask so I took this book. Find out which ones are his and come back to me again later." Nova said
Liberta took the book and opened it.
" There's so many! How am I supposed to know?!" Liberta ask
" Here's a clue. Go to the section called 'Legend' and search. It's not difficult." Nova said
Liberta flipped to the section as he started reading.
" Ah! I remember now! Thanks for the info! Then let's go! We can't be late!" Liberta said
" Yeah."
" Be careful." Luca said
" Yes."
They went off to the Physics Room as they gulped.
" Should we?" Liberta ask
" You go." Nova replied
" Is there something you need?" A voice ask
They turned to see a boy with yellow hair and two light blue haired girls.
" H-Hello... We're here to join the club..." Liberta said
" Then you should just go in." The boy said
He opened the door as they entered.
" Sendou." He called
Aichi turned to see his three friends.
" Leon-kun! You're here!" Aichi greeted
" Huh? Who's that?" Naoki ask
" They said they want to join the club." Leon said
" Oh I see. Uh... If I remember, you are Felicita-san." Aichi said
" Yes, I am." Felicita said
" And who are the other two?" Misaki ask
" My name is Liberta!" Liberta replied
" I'm Nova." Nova replied
" They are my friends who transferred here from Italy like me. We would like to join your club." Felicita said
" Sure. Anyone is welcome to join the club." Aichi said
" Not until you defeat one of us." Naoki said
" With?" Nova ask
" Cardfight. That's what the club is about. Or you don't have any decks?" Misaki ask
" Well..."
" It's our first time playing..." Felicita said
" Figures. I brought extras. Choose any of the decks here." Misaki said
She took out a few decks as they picked some and went to a fight table each.
" I'll go against you." Naoki said
" Fine." Nova said
" I'm up against you." Kourin said
" Okay!" Liberta said
" I'm challenging you." Shingo said
" Yeah."
" We'll go through the rules while playing then. Now, imagine it. You're on a planet called Cray, a planet much like Earth. Your astral body materializes on it and you can start the fight." Aichi explained
" Stand up, Vanguard!"
~ After awhile~
" Attack!" Kourin declared
The sixth damage fell on Liberta's damage zone.
" I lost!" Liberta whined
" Legion Mach attack!" Naoki declared
The sixth damage fell on Nova's damage zone.
" I lost..." Nova said
" Attack!" Shingo declared
The sixth damage fell on Felicita's damage zone.
" Looks like I lost..." Felicita said
" You're good. It's your first time but you got a grasp of the game so quickly." Naoki said
" I could say the same. But the mistakes that you've made led to your lost." Kourin said
" You almost beat me. But the way you play really shocked me... I thought I was going to lose..." Shingo said
" Don't be surprised. Kourin went easy on you by using a deck she doesn't use much, Angel Feathers, because it was your first time. As for Naoki and Shingo, these two are the usual but in my opinion, Naoki has gotten stronger again." Misaki said
" I agree. The fights were great. I was really surprised too." Aichi said
" Sendou. Let them join the club." Leon said
" Huh?!"
" But the rule was already set when the club was first formed!" Naoki said
" But I suggest that we let them in, so no arguments. Of course, if it's alright with Sendou." Leon said
" Actually, I was thinking the same thing. I can tell they can play better than this and if they work hard enough, everything will pay off with effort. So, what does everyone think?" Aichi ask
" Alright. On the account that you've finally returned, we'll accept them." Misaki said
" I'll agree with you." Kourin said
" Me too!" Naoki said
" I agree too!" Shingo said
" Then it's settled. Welcome to the Cardfight Club!" Aichi greeted
" Thank you very much!"
They bowed as the door opened to reveal other students in different school uniforms.
" We're here!" One of them said
" Miwa-kun! Kai-kun! You're finally here!" Aichi said
" Sorry we took so long. I had classroom duty and had to look all over the school for Kai, only to find that he was taking a nap again..." Miwa explained
Sweat drop...
" Whatever. Aichi. Fight me." Kai said
" Sure!"
They went to the fight table as they prepared their starting Vanguards and decks.
" Stand up, Vanguard!"
" Stand up the Vanguard!"
~ After the fight~
The sixth damage fell on Kai's damage zone.
" Looks like I lose again." Kai said
" If it wasn't for that heal trigger just now, I would've lost. It was a great fight, Kai-kun." Aichi said
" Yeah."
There was a knock on the door as three more people entered.
" Gaillard-kun! Neve-san! Ratie!"
" Aichi-kun!"
Ratie ran and pounced on Aichi as the both of them collapsed to the ground.
" Ow... Are you alright?" Aichi ask
" Yes. I'm sorry..." Ratie replied
Both got up as Gaillard and Neve approached them.
" Aichi-san." Gaillard greeted
" Gaillard-kun! How are the children doing?" Aichi ask
" They're all fine. You should come visit again some time." Gaillard replied
" I'm planning to go to Europe when it's the holidays. I'll visit them as soon as I can." Aichi said
" So, how's your country?" Naoki ask
" The same as always. It's still peaceful." Neve replied
" So, who are they?" Gaillard ask
" Oh. These three are the new members of our club. Felicita-san, Liberta-san and Nova-san." Aichi introduced
" I see."
That was when they noticed the mini daggers that were not so obvious in Felicita's skirt.
" Those are...! But Aichi-san doesn't seem to notice them... Are they after him?! I can't let that happen! But..." Gaillard thought
Gaillard took his wrist and brought him to a fight table.
" Let's fight, Aichi-san." Gaillard said
" Y-Yeah..."
" Stand up, Vanguard!"
" Stand up le Vanguard!"
~ After the fight~
The sixth damage fell on Gaillard's damage zone.
" I lost." Gaillard said
" It was a great fight." Aichi said
" Yeah."
" Um..."
" What is it?" Gaillard ask
" No, it's nothing..." Aichi replied
" You want to know about him?" Gaillard ask
" Yes..."
" He doesn't deserve your concern, Aichi-dono. Don't forget about what happened back at the sanctuary. He destroyed the seals with his cunning plans and don't even care a single thing about the world!" Neve said
" But he just wanted power... He had that conflict in his family, so I'm not surprised..." Aichi said
" Even so, he's unforgivable!" The three said
" But... I just want to know..." Aichi said
Gaillard sighed.
" Fine... He's living normally with his family, their conflicts have been resolved and stopped. The Sera family will be living peacefully from now on." Gaillard explained
" What a relief..." Aichi sighed
" Seriously... You're too kind, Aichi-kun..." Ratie sighed
" Besides, I don't think he'll even come to visit you. He doesn't even care." Neve said
" Who says I don't?" A voice ask
They turned to the door to see a purple-haired guy.
" Sera!"
" Greetings, Aichi-sama. It's been a long time." Sera greeted
He walked over to Aichi as some of the people inside the room glared at him, except for Felicita and the others. The situation was unexpected when Sera took Aichi's hand and kissed it, causing Aichi to blush madly and fluster and Gaillard, Neve and Ratie to have a flaring aura around them.
" Sera! How dare you barge in here and do something like that to Aichi-san!" Gaillard shouted
" The deeds that you did back at the sanctuary are still not forgiven!" Neve shouted
" And don't think that after all you've done, you still can get away with calling Aichi-kun 'sama'!" Ratie shouted
" But I'm serious with calling him this now. Why do you guys think that I don't deserve to call him that? You guys fell for my traps so easily before too." Sera shrugged
Three tick marks appeared as their aura flared even bigger. Sera's own cold flare appeared as sparks flew between the four.
" C-Calm down! D-Don't fight, the four of you!" Aichi said
He then noticed the four taking out their talismans and tried to stop them.
" No! Not in here! Just control yourselves!" Aichi said
" Um... Aichi... H-Help us..." Naoki said
Aichi turned to them as he saw Kai's flaring aura that's even fiercer than the other three.
" E-Everyone, calm down! L-Like I said, no using those in here!" Aichi said
The talismans activated as a battle somehow started.
" Everyone! Stop it! You're going to get someone's attention!" Aichi shouted
Felicita and the others' faces were all blank while watching the whole thing unfold.
" These guys are not normal..." Liberta said
" Y-Yeah..."
" Enough! You guys are going to cause so much trouble!" Kourin shouted
" Everyone! Calm down!" Aichi shouted
An attack caught him off guard and he fell back. The attacks stopped as the smoke started to dissipate.
" Aichi-san!"
" Aichi-dono!"
" Aichi-kun!"
" Aichi-sama!"
" Aichi!"
When the smoke completely dissipated, the scene immediately made Naoki and Shingo shut Ratie's eyes and the others to turn flustered. Unknown to how it had happened, Kai had fell on top of Aichi and their lips had sort of... connected. Both blushed and immediately got up.
" I told you guys not to fight in here!" Aichi scolded
" I-I'm sorry!"
" W-We didn't mean to! Sorry!" Gaillard apologized
" Never mind... Just stop fighting next time." Aichi said
" R-Right..."
" So who wants to go to Card Capital today? I'm in." Naoki said
" I'll go too." Aichi said
" Us too!" Miwa said
" We don't mind." Gaillard said
" We're fine with it too." Leon said
" Then we'll all go." Misaki said
" Um... Can we all follow too?" Felicita ask
They looked at each other before looking back at them.
" Sure!"
" Thank you very much!"
" I have some classroom duty to do. I'll settle this then meet everyone at Card Capital." Kourin said
" Me too." Misaki said
" I need to borrow a book from the library." Shingo said
" I forgot my bag in class again!" Naoki said
" Sorry, Kai! I need you to come with me for a bit. We need to talk." Miwa said
" Hmph."
" We'll go hand in some papers to the teacher's room first." Felicita said
" We've got some things to settle for a bit." Gaillard said, eyeing Sera
" The three of us need to talk about something." Leon said
" Then, you'll need to wait for us at the entrance of the school, Aichi. The students are mostly gone from school. Will you be alright waiting alone?" Naoki ask
" Sure. I'll be waiting there then. See you guys later." Aichi said
" Yeah."
They went to do their separate work as Aichi waited by the school gate for them.
" I'll just wait here." Aichi thought
A few minutes passed as Aichi waited for a bit longer.
" I wonder what's taking them so long?" Aichi thought
A car silently pulled over behind him as two people came out and grabbed Aichi. Aichi was caught by surprise and struggled as he was forced into the car, where a third guy was waiting and held him down as the other two entered. Kai and Miwa had coincidentally finished talking when they saw it.
" Aichi!"
They immediately ran to help as the door of the car closed and the other two got into the car. The car sped off just before Kai and Miwa arrived.
" Aichi!"
" Kai, we need to go get the others!" Miwa said
" Right!"
The two ran back to find the others. Meanwhile, inside the car, Aichi was tied up and the car's windows were shut by curtains.
" Let me go! What do you want with me?!" Aichi shouted
The third guy pushed his head so that he could see the side of his neck and took out a syringe with a liquid inside it.
" What are you doing?! No! Let me go!" Aichi shouted
The syringe was inserted as the liquid was injected into his neck. Aichi's vision started to blur.
" No... Everyone..." Aichi muttered before fainting
The syringe was removed as the guy took off a few parts of Aichi's clothes to check on something.
" They are all here. He's the one we're looking for." The third guy said
" We just need to get him back to run a few tests, then we can give him to them." The first guy said
" Right!"
The car continued to speed off.
Meanwhile, after the others were informed, Leon had activated his Psyqualia to follow Aichi's trail.
" He's not far away! Come on!" Leon said
" I knew I shouldn't have gone to the toilet at the last minute!" Naoki said
" No use blaming yourself now! We don't know what those guys want with Aichi but we need to save him!" Miwa said
" But... Why did you guys follow?!" Ratie ask
" If our club's captain is in trouble, don't we always help?! We just met but this is for letting us join the club even though we lost!" Liberta replied
" Fine, but don't blame us if you get into trouble!" Gaillard said
They continued running when Felicita's Arcana powers activated. She saw each of the images the others were thinking right now. People losing their memories of Aichi. The battle at the sanctuary. Everything that occurred during their times with Aichi.
" These people..." Felicita thought
They stopped as Leon gave them the silent sign. They looked up to see a small building and ran towards the entrance, they hid behind the walls.
" Darn... There's security everywhere... We won't be able to get in..." Naoki said
" There must be another way in!" Jillian said
" Over there!" Sharlene said
They looked down to see a hatch that leads to the inside of the building. Leon opened the hatch.
" Neve will have to stay here just in case, besides I don't think you can fit inside there. We'll all enter the building and get Aichi-san out of there." Gaillard said
They nodded as they crawled into the hatch.
Meanwhile, Aichi opened his eyes to find that he was inside a dark room with a single door in front of him. His wrists and ankles were tied together. However, he was feeling tired and weak at the same time because of the liquid that was injected before. But through the doors, he could hear a conversation going on outside.
" We found the boy. The information given was reliable." One of the guys said
" Where is he now?" Another voice that was obviously communicating from a computer ask
" Inside that room. We will hand him over right after we've run some tests on him as requested." A second guy said
" Good. Finish the tests and give us the results." The voice from the computer said
" Yes. We'll start right away." The third guy said
" We'll be waiting. Hurry up and hand him over once you're done." The voice said
" Yes."
There were a few shuffling of feet as the door opened. The three guys entered as Aichi backed away.
" What do you want?" Aichi ask
" Hurry up and come!" The first guy said
He hoisted him up as Aichi was set down on a bed. His wrists were released as they were then strapped to metal stands beside the bed and his ankles were tied to the bed's metal frame. Aichi struggled to break free as some equipments were pushed to the bed. The third guy then strapped his forehead down as Aichi tried to move.
" Let me go! No!" Aichi shouted
The second guy grabbed another syringe and filled it with the same liquid as he walked over to Aichi.
" This will be done by the time you wake up, so stay still." He said
Aichi struggled as the needle was pushed into his neck once more. The liquid was injected again as Aichi's vision started to blur again. The three guys removed the same parts of his clothing when the hatch was suddenly kicked open. Kai and the others came out as Naoki, Jillian and Sharlene seized the three guys.
" Kai, hurry!" Naoki shouted
Kai hurriedly crawled out of the hatch as he ran over to Aichi and released all the straps.
" Aichi!"
" Kai-kun..."
Aichi fainted once more as Sera picked up the syringe and sniffed it.
" It's sleeping medicine. They were putting him to sleep." Sera said
" We better get out of here then." Miwa said
Kai was about to button Aichi's shirt back again when he saw something. He moved the shirt a little and saw a mark on the right side of Aichi's shoulder.
" Gaillard! Come here!" Kai said
Gaillard went to him as he peered over Kai's shoulder and saw the mark too.
" What is that?!" Gaillard ask
" I don't know. We'll find out later. Let's go." Kai said
" Yeah."
Felicita and the others saw the mark before Kai had buttoned Aichi's shirt.
" If I'm correct, that's..." Nova said
" Then there's no doubt about it." Liberta said
The three guys suddenly got out of their grips as the first guy pressed a button which sounded the alarm.
" Oh no!"
" Hurry! We need to get out of here!" Misaki said
" Right!"
The security came in as they were surrounded.
" Darn it! Now how do we get out?!" Naoki ask
" No choice..." Gaillard said
" Steel Wall!"
Steel walls appeared and blocked some of the security as Neve entered.
" I heard the alarm and came in." Neve said
" Looks like we'll have to fight our way out." Sera said
" Let's go!" Gaillard said
" Yeah!"
" Sorry but you're too late." The third guy said
They put on masks including the security and pressed a button. Sleeping gas was released as they tried to cover the smell.
" It's sleeping gas!" Ratie exclaimed
" Everyone, try to stay awake!" Kai said
" Easier... said than done..." Naoki said
Naoki and Shingo dozed off.
" Naoki! Shingo!"
Misaki and Kourin followed suit.
" Tokura! Tatsunagi!"
" I'm sorry..." Ratie said
Ratie fell asleep too.
" Ratie!"
The others soon fell asleep along with them. The gas was stopped as the guys took off their masks.
" We'll continue with the boy. Put them into that room and make sure they can't get out." The first one ordered
" Yes!"
Aichi was once again strapped to the bed as the others were thrown into the room and locked up. The various tests started with Aichi still unconscious.
~ An hour later~
The tests were done as they checked the results.
" Everything's normal. Nothing abnormal has been found." The second guy reported
" Good. Now all we need to do is to send him to them and our job is done." The first guy said
" What about those guys inside?" The third guy ask
" Leave them be. We have to go now." The first guy replied
" Yes!"
Aichi suddenly opened his eyes. His eyes had lost its light for a moment as the mark on his shoulder glowed. They turned to him.
" What's going on?!" The second guy exclaimed
" Put him back to sleep!" The first guy ordered
" Yes!"
The straps broke as Aichi got up and faced them. He lifted up two fingers and explosions occurred. The others woke up and heard the noises.
" What's going on?" Naoki ask
" I don't know..." Shingo replied
" We were in trouble there... What's going on outside?" Miwa ask
" Who knows... I'll go check." Kai said
He walked over to the door and opened it to peek outside. He saw Aichi swaying back and forth before starting to collapse. Kai ran out and caught him before he fell to the ground.
" Aichi! Aichi!"
He looked around him as he saw all the fallen people.
" It can't be... He beat up all these people?!" Kai thought
" Kai! What's going on?!" Naoki exclaimed
" Guys, this might seem unbelievable but I think Aichi did all this." Kai said
" That's impossible!" Gaillard exclaimed
" But he's the only one who can retaliate, so it might be true." Leon said
" What should we do now?" Ren ask
" We need to get out of here first. Let's go!" Kai said
" Right!"
They were about to leave when more security came in.
" Again?!"
" That's it! I can't wait any longer!" Liberta said
" Liberta?!"
" I'm itching for some actions already! I can't wait anymore!" Liberta said
" You're right. Let's go, Nova." Felicita said
Nova sighed.
" Fine." Nova said
The three took out their weapons that they kept hidden as they attacked the security and soon, the path was clear.
" Now's the time! Hurry!" Nova said
" R-Right!"
They exited the place as they arrived at Card Capital again. They managed to catch their breath as Kai settled Aichi down.
" Kai. Bring Aichi up to my room. He can rest properly there." Misaki said
" Okay."
Kai carried Aichi once more as he went up to Misaki's room to set Aichi down before going back down to the shop.
" So... Mind explaining to us why you have weapons?" Naoki ask
" Just a minute, keep them. This is my family's shop and I don't want a fight to break out." Misaki said
" R-Right..."
" So what is your explanation?" Shingo ask
" In account to Liberta's reckless actions, we'll tell you. The three of us, no, make that four of us. Your new Science sensei, Luca, is also one of us. We come from the Arcana Family in Regalo." Nova explained
" Regalo?"
" Then you're not from Italy?" Kourin ask
" We are from Italy. Just that Regalo is located a little further away from the country on an island." Liberta replied
" So what's your motive in being here and transferring into their school?" Kai ask
" Papa, our leader in the Family, ordered us to find our Family's Young Master here in Japan." Felicita replied
" Young Master?!"
" Yes. Apparently, Young Master is connected to the Sendou family before. But during an occasion, they suddenly quit the family." Nova explained
" Sendou family? You mean... Aichi's connected to all of this?!" Naoki ask
" You could say that. But it actually all started with his father instead, he was in the Arcana family for a very long time until a dangerous discovery got him to quit the family." Liberta explained
" What kind of danger?" Gaillard ask
" We're not sure ourselves. But if we put a few clues together, those people that we faced just now could be the danger. Papa is very close to Aichi's father, so I don't think he's just sending us here just to find Young Master." Felicita said
" Fel is Papa and Mama's daughter. So we call her 'Milady' at Regalo. Papa made a promise to Aichi's father." Nova said
" Promise?"
Nova took out the same book and flipped to a page.
" Take a look at this. Each of the members have formed contracts with cards called taraccos and can use their powers. Young Master has formed three contracts with three legendary cards at birth. 'Angel', 'Song' and 'Silent'. The 'Angel' card is located on his back, 'Silent' is located on his shoulder which you might have seen just now, and lastly, 'Song' is located on his thigh." Nova explained
" But Aichi didn't mention anything about it!" Naoki said
" Probably he hasn't grown to a certain condition see the marks yet, that's why everyone could see them now, including him when he wakes up." Liberta said
" As for us, we have contracted with taraccos when we were born too. Mine is the 13th card, La Morte: Death." Nova explained
" I have the first card, Il Matto: The Fool." Liberta explained
" I have the 6th card, Gli Amanti: The Lovers. And one more... The 10th card, La Ruota Della Fortuna: Wheel of Fortune." Felicita explained
" But why would your Papa or whatsoever want Aichi to go back to the family as their Young Master?" Misaki said
" That's because he was meant to be our Young Master. Before his father had quit the family, he was the leader before Papa in the family. He just passed his title onto Papa when he had decided to quit. Papa made a promise to him that sixteen years after Young Master is born, he will allow him to join the family as the family's Young Master and give him proper protection because his three powers are legendary after all." Felicita explained
" I see..."
" Hey, wait a minute... Where's Kai?" Miwa ask
They looked around to find Kai missing.
" Maybe he went to check on Aichi." Misaki said
That was when a scream startled them.
" W-W-What are you doing, Kai-kun?!" It was Aichi
" Yup. We have our answer now..." Kourin said
They ran up the stairs. What happened while they were talking was this, after the three had explained where Aichi's three taraccos were, Kai couldn't resist the temptation and went up the stairs without anyone knowing. He opened the door and closed it again before walking towards Aichi.
" If I'm correct..." Kai thought
He unbuttoned Aichi's shirt and turned him to see the mark of 'Angel' on his back. Then he looked at Aichi's shoulder to see the mark of 'Silent' on his shoulder. Lastly, he pulled Aichi's pants down a little to see the mark of 'Song' on his thigh. Aichi roused from his sleep at that moment and saw the situation, in the end, thinking that Kai was a pervert. He blushed madly as Kai lifted up his head to see Aichi and blushed too.
" W-W-What are you doing, Kai-kun?!" Aichi screamed
A sound of slapping was heard as the others started to climb up the stairs. Aichi hurriedly pulled up his pants and buttoned his shirt. Just in a nick of time, the others had opened the door right after he had buttoned the last button.
" Did something happen here?" Misaki ask
" Why were you screaming?" Naoki ask
They saw Kai sprawled on the floor with a red hand mark on his cheek.
" Okay. I think we kind of understand what happened..." Miwa said
" You alright now?" Naoki ask
" Yeah. How did we get out of there?" Aichi ask
" I don't know... When we took a peek outside the room they threw us into, all of the guys were defeated." Kourin replied
" That's weird..." Aichi said
" Actually... We might have a suspicion that those defeated people might have been you, who defeated them." Nova said
" Huh?"
" When we got out, there was nothing holding you down and when Kai found you, you've already collapsed to the floor." Liberta said
" Really? I don't remember anything..." Aichi said
" Well... We'll explain everything. But firstly, do you know what your father does?" Felicita ask
" No, not really... He's gone by the time Mother has Emi and I don't have much memories of him." Aichi said
" Well, you should listen to this." Nova said
The three explained everything to him as Aichi took in the information as much as he could.
" I didn't know that... Mother never told me anything about him... But does Mother know?!" Aichi ask
" Since he quit after he was married and had you, we figured she might have known but just kept it a secret." Nova replied
" I see... Oh, look at the time. It's getting late, I need to go home. I'll see everyone tomorrow." Aichi said
Aichi left the room as Kai followed along after getting up.
" Aichi!"
Aichi turned behind to see Kai following him.
" Kai-kun. Is there something you need?" Aichi ask
" Can I walk you home today? At least it's better than being alone like just now..." Kai said
" Sure."
Both set off back to Aichi's home again as it was an awkward silence.
" Sorry... About the slap..." Aichi said
" It's fine." Kai said
" Um... Kai-kun. Can I ask you something?" Aichi ask
" What is it?" Kai ask
" Can I... Stay at your house for a few days or so?" Aichi ask
" Why that sudden request?" Kai ask
" I just need time to think about it. You know, everything just came so suddenly that it's hard for me to accept it. So... I would want some time alone with you at your house..." Aichi replied
" I understand. Okay, you can stay at my house if you'd like." Kai said
" Thank you. I just need to pack some stuff at home and tell my mother about this." Aichi said
" Sure."
They continued walking as Aichi felt a sense of security around Kai and became more relaxed.
Meanwhile, at the Sendou residence...
Shizuka just finished washing the dishes when the bell rang.
" Coming!"
She opened the door to see a man in black clothing and smoking.
" You're... Jolly! What are you doing here?! What about the Family?!" Shizuka ask
" Long time no see, Shizuka. How's Young Master doing?" Jolly ask
" I know about the promise but I'm going to say this again, I won't let Aichi go back to the Family! It's far too dangerous for someone like him!" Shizuka said
" I knew you would say that." Jolly said
" In the meantime, come in. You wanted to talk to me about not only Aichi, right?" Shizuka ask
" You got me. There is something I would like to discuss with you." Jolly said
He entered the house as he sat down on the sofa in the living room.
" Not a bad looking place." Jolly said
" Here. I got you coffee if you don't mind." Shizuka said
" Yeah."
He drank the coffee as he set it down again.
" You know... Those guys that your husband researched about. Heard that they were on the move again, this time, they are after Young Master apparently." Jolly said
" That can't be... How did they find us all the way here?" Shizuka ask
" Who knows. But if Young Master falls into their hands, you know what can happen." Jolly said
" I'm still not going to let him go back." Shizuka said
At that time, the door opened.
" I'm back!"
" Aichi! Welcome back!" Shizuka greeted
" I'm back, Mother. Oh, we have a guest? Are we disturbing you guys?" Aichi asl
" 'we'?"
Kai appeared after putting his shoes properly.
" Sorry for intruding, Sendou-san." Kai said
" It's alright." Shizuka said
" Mother, I'm going to stay at Kai-kun's place for a few days. It's a little last minute but we want to spend a little time together." Aichi said
" Sure. Go and pack your stuff upstairs. Don't keep Kai-kun waiting for too long." Shizuka said
" Yeah."
Aichi went up the stairs to pack and change as Kai followed along. Shizuka sat back down after that.
" That person with Young Master is..." Jolly said
" You saw through them... Actually, I've known it long ago. Aichi has been acting weird around him so I wasn't surprised if he had liked Kai-kun. They are both too shy." Shizuka said
" Things just turned complicated..." Jolly said
Aichi and Kai came down after awhile with Aichi's things all packed.
" Let's go." Kai said
" Yeah. I'm going now, Mother. I'll see you in a few days then." Aichi said
" Have fun!" Shizuka said
Aichi blushed lightly before his eyes averted to Jolly. Jolly suddenly noticed an image of the 'Angel' mark in Aichi's eyes before disappearing. Kai also noticed the 'Angel' mark on Aichi's back glowed before dissipating.
" Aichi. Let's go." Kai said
" Y-Yeah..."
The two exited the house as Jolly watched them leave. Before Aichi had left, he saw a wound on his hand.
" He's still young and they've started targeting him... 'Angel' has the ability to look into a person's inner aura. A person's aura depicts his or her feelings or personality and 'Angel' reveals them to the user. However... 'Angel' has yet another ability that is quite unique. 'Angel' allows the user to turn into another form or even take over a person's body. Since he still hasn't gotten control over it, we must be on alert." Jolly thought
" Is there anything else? If not then please leave... I don't want to discuss this ever again." Shizuka said
" Sure."
Jolly exited the house as he thought about something.
" 'Angel' is Light, 'Silent' is Darkness and 'Song' is Harmony. These three will be potentially powerful when put to good use. However, if it lands into the wrong hands... We need to be extra careful." Jolly thought
He continued to walk as a plane flew above him.
~ At night~
Aichi and Kai had just finished dinner as Aichi went for a shower first. Kai prepared something in secret while Aichi was at it. When Aichi came out of the bathroom, he was greeted by romantic dance music and Kai standing in front of him in his sleeping clothes like Aichi, extending his hand out to him.
" May I have this dance?" Kai ask
" W-What's with this all of a sudden?" Aichi ask
" A little something I've been wanting to do with someone I love." Kai replied
Aichi blushed at those words as Kai took Aichi's hand and pulled him in. They were now in position for a slow dance.
" You know, I'm not a good dancer... I've never danced before after all..." Aichi said
" Don't be like that. Here, just follow my movements and dance freely." Kai said
" B-But don't you feel it's a little... I mean, we're in our pajamas..." Aichi said
" I don't care since we're at home. Nobody will see us anyway." Kai said
Kai taught Aichi step by step as Aichi caught up and was able to dance with Kai.
" This feels a little embarrassing but... If it's with Kai-kun..." Aichi said
Kai smiled as they continued. Unknown to them, on a huge tree close to Kai's apartment, Felicita and the others were observing them in the tree.
" Well... This is a little..." Liberta said
" Too romantic..." Nova said
" Milady, it's not a good idea to watch this..." Luca said
" Huh? Why?" Felicita ask
They continued to watch the two as Kai suddenly leaned in and kissed Aichi full on his lips.
" Oh my..." Liberta said
" You're kidding..." Nova said
" How dare he do that to Young Master!" Luca said
" Calm down, Luca!" Felicita said
" Oh yeah. You took care of him for how many years?" Liberta ask
" Three years. He was such a cute boy when he was young too. To think he's so grown up now..." Luca said
Sweat drop... Back to Aichi and Kai...
" I think we should stop now. It's getting late after all." Aichi said
" Sure."
Kai turned off the light as Aichi got ready to sleep. Kai got onto the bed as he hugged Aichi and pulled him close to his chest. Aichi blushed before falling asleep in Kai's warm chest.
~ The next day~
Aichi woke up as he looked around for Kai. He then noticed Kai cooking breakfast as he got out of bed.
" Kai-kun. What are you doing?" Aichi ask
" Cooking our breakfast. Sit down and I'll get you the food." Kai said
" Okay."
Aichi sat down as Kai got his breakfast and placed it in front of him.
" Looks delicious! Sorry if I'm bothering you here for a few days." Aichi said
" It's nothing, but it does get a little lonely here without company so I don't mind." Kai said
" You've been living alone since young?" Aichi ask
" My uncle took care of me before I came back here since my parents died in an accident when I was in middle school, the age where I met you." Kai said
" I'm sorry... You had to bring that up because I asked..." Aichi said
" It's fine. I just want to be safe and sound for me. I don't want to see you hurt again, to like that time..." Kai said
" I don't blame you for the Link Joker incident or for the Seed incident. It could all be my fault too if you might not know or understand." Aichi said
" What do you mean?" Kai ask
" If I didn't meet you and didn't get Blaster Blade from you, nothing like that would've happened." Aichi said
" So now you're saying everything that has happened until now is because of you? I refuse to accept that reasoning. If I didn't meet you, you would still be a lonely person like me and we would've even have never met each other and be a couple like now, so don't bring up that you're the cause of everything, got it? I hate to hear that from you." Kai said
" What if I'm still going to say it?" Aichi ask
" Then I'll just shut you up if I have to." Kai replied
" How?"
Kai suddenly leaned in to kiss Aichi full on his lips again as his eyes widened. Kai broke the kiss with Aichi still in shock.
" Like that." Kai said
" T-That's not counted..." Aichi said
" Oh? Then what about perverted touches?" Kai ask
" Don't even think about it." Aichi replied
" If I have to keep your mouth shut, then perverted touches are the best way." Kai said
" You're just playing dirty now..." Aichi said
" Then what about this?" Kai ask
He took out a ring with a sapphire heart as the center with silver intertwined and holding it in place. Kai slid the ring onto Aichi's middle finger and kissed his forehead as Aichi blushed.
" Thank you..." Aichi said
" Promise me you won't mention it again then." Kai said
Aichi nodded as Kai smiled and got up. He sat down across Aichi.
" Now start eating. You wouldn't want the food to turn cold." Kai said
" Yeah!"
They started eating as the four on the tree were still there for the whole night.
" Jeez... We should've gotten some food to eat too..." Liberta said
" We're supposed to watch over him." Nova said
" Yeah, yeah."
Back to Aichi and Kai...
" Thanks for the food! It was delicious, Kai-kun!" Aichi said
" Glad you enjoyed it. I'm thinking of going out for shopping later to buy something. Want to follow along?" Kai ask
" Sure!"
" After that, we can head off to Card Capital." Kai said
" Yeah!"
They changed and head out as Felicita and the others followed closely behind. After buying some ingredients from the supermarket, they set off to Card Capital. When they arrived, they went into the shop while Felicita and the others stayed outside.
" Hello, everyone!" Aichi greeted
" Yo! Took you guys long enough to come!" Naoki said
" We were just having a friendly fight with each other while waiting." Kourin said
" Misaki. Stop working for once and go have some fun. Assistant Manager and I will handle the shop while you're at it." Shin said
Assistant Cat glared at him.
" I mean... Manager..." Shin corrected
" Alright. Thank you, Shin-san." Misaki said
She took off her apron and proceeded to a fight table to cardfight with Ratie.
" Aichi-san, fight with me?" Gaillard ask
" Sure."
They prepared their starting Vanguards and decks.
" Stand up, Vanguard!"
" Stand up le Vanguard!"
The two started their fight as the others who weren't fighting gathered around the ones who were fighting.
~ Further into the fight~
" Legion attacks!" Gaillard declared
" Perfect guard!"
" Drive check. Second check. Draw trigger! Power to Aglovale and draw. Aglovale!" Gaillard declared
" Guard!"
" Turn end."
" Stand and draw." Aichi declared
A sensation suddenly came and his Psyqualia activated. Ren and Leon's Psyqualia also activated. The three suddenly clenched their heads.
" Aichi! What's wrong?!" Kai ask
" Ren-sama!"
" Leon-sama!"
The three fainted as the others tried to wake them up.
" Aichi! Hey, wake up! Wake up!" Kai called
" What's going on?!" Gaillard ask
" I don't know." Naoki replied
" Wait... Aichi, Ren and Leon fainting at the same time... Could it be... Psyqualia?!" Kai exclaimed
" Now that I think about it... You're right. Other than Aichi, Chris, Leon and Ren are the other ones who have Psyqualia. But what caused their Psyqualia to suddenly act up like that?" Kourin ask
" We'll have to wait until they wake up then." Shingo said
They nodded as they waited for the three to wake up.
~ In the Psyqualians' dream~
The three opened their eyes to find themselves in a space.
" Where are we?" Ren ask
" Our Psyqualia just activated and here we are..." Leon said
" Who called us here in the first place?" Aichi ask
" I would like to know that too..." A voice said
They turned their heads to see Chris.
" Chris!"
" I happened to be cardfighting with Mitsusada when my Psyqualia activated." Chris said
" I'll explain everything." Another voice said
Takuto appeared in front of them.
" Takuto!"
" Sorry for scaring you guys with Psyqualia. But there's something I have to discuss with you guys. First, I'm giving you guys this." Takuto said
He held out his hand as four items appeared in front of each user. Leon's was a siver medallion in the shape of the Aqua Force's symbol with a blue pearl at the center. Ren's was a medallion in the shape of the Shadow Paladin's symbol with a purple crystal at the center. Chris's was a medallion in the shape of the Great Nature's symbol with a green crystal at the center. Aichi's was a medallion with a fusion of the Royal Paladin and Gold Paladin symbols and a rainbow pearl was at the centre.
" What's this?" Ren ask
" Your weapons or should I say talismans. Aichi-kun, I know very well that you made talismans for the Quatre Knights using their avatar cards with your powers." Takuto said
" But what can they do?" Chris ask
" Aichi-kun. You do know about your situation right now, don't you? Your talisman can protect you if anything ever happens and soon there will be something that will help you with everything along the way." Takuto said
" You mean..." Ren said
Takuto nodded.
" You mean taraccos? How will they help us?" Leon ask
" What's a taracco?" Chris ask
" It's a long story but when you come we'll tell you." Ren replied
" Taraccos can enhance your strength and your talismans can aid you while you're fighting. It's better to master the talismans first before using your taraccos." Takuto said
" But we don't have any taracco, except for Sendou." Leon said
" Aichi-kun. I'm sure they've already approached you. Even though you might want to reject them, you should consider going there but come back to Japan whenever it isn't your school holidays. But since your holidays have started, you should bring your friends along with you and go with them. It'll be a good opportunity. Besides, some are already keeping watch of you outside. Good luck, and Chris, go to Japan and meet up with them before going. Good luck. I'll see you guys soon." Takuto said
~ The Psyqualians' dream end~
The three woke up as they looked around.
" You alright, Aichi?" Kai ask
" Yes... Takuto-kun was just telling us something..." Aichi replied
" Takuto?! What did he say?!" Kourin ask
" Hold on... The four of you outside, come in. There's no need to hide anymore." Leon said
They faced the door as Felicita and the others entered.
" You knew?" Liberta ask
" No. Not until Takuto-kun told us." Aichi replied
" So what did he say?" Naoki ask
" He gave us a talisman each, I guess they represent our clans since they're shaped like them." Ren said, showing his medallion
" What the..."
" Then what else did he say?" Neve ask
" He said... To join the Arcana Family..." Aichi replied
" He also said that it'll benefit all of us if we join as well." Leon said
" But..."
" I don't mind. As long as I can come back here, I don't mind anything." Aichi said
" That's good too. Papa made a special division just for you but you'll have to fight for the leader position and he can't wait to see you again." Felicita said
" Yeah. I'll be sure to greet him when I'm there. But we'll all go tomorrow, Chris-kun and the others have yet to come after all." Aichi said
Ren and Leon nodded.
" So that means... A sleepover!" Ren cheered
" I don't mind. Just don't mess up the shop." Misaki said
" Okay!"
" And one more thing! I'm hungry!" Liberta said
" We'll make dinner too while we're at it." Kourin said
" Yeah!"
