Black Rebel Motor Cycle

A/N: All characters and locations etc etc belong to Jk. Rowling! Don't mess!

Just something I was messing around with…I haven't read book four! That means facts might be wrong or anything! Not slash…not even slush and it won't make you blush! Harry's just feeling a bit lonely but it's light and cute…oh and he's older now…16 maybe… and um…. Sirius is clear…either that or he's tryna get caught by hanging round schools…have it your way!! Read and review…you can flame but I won't respect you for it!

Sometimes

"Harry", Sirius entered his Godson's room. The boy was sitting, cross-legged on his bed, the rest of the room deserted. He didn't look up as Sirius spoke.

"Ron tells me you're ill? So are you ill ill or just "I'm planning something sneaky" ill…"

It was then he saw what was in Harry's lap. The photo album Hagrid had given him.

"Ah", said Sirius, sitting beside Harry on the bed. "Halloween?"

Harry nodded silently. "I remember things" he began. "Like my Mum and Dad. I try not to think about it most of the time cos I know…"

"They're not coming back."

"Yeah. I guess. But tonight everyone celebrates it and it feels so wrong to me. I get so angry but I know it's not their fault…"

Sirius nodded.

" I know, I miss them too", he held Harry lightly by the shoulder. "I know it's not the same but you're not alone now. You've got everyone here. And me ok?"

Harry smiled as Sirius ruffled his already devilish hair.

"It's just, with the Dursleys I was never aloud to mention them or even remember. It was like there was something wrong…"

"Now hang on!" Cried Sirius, "don't believe what the Dursleys tell you Harry, you've got more sense. James and Lilly were my best mates, they were like my family and they were two of the best wizards and witches this world's seen! Which makes you pretty damn good too!"

Harry laughed. "Thanks, Sirius."

Sirius smiled. "That's what I'm here for! Now, you wanna come down?"

"Not yet. You go on."

Sirius looked at him for a second. "Sure?"

"Sure. Go on go!"

Sirius, walking to the door, picked up Harry's firebolt and whistled softly. "I still can't believe they're making things as good as this! In my day…"

He laughed, seeing Harry's expression.

"Hey Harry" he added, "you gotta let me try it. Seriously. Tomorrow?"

A grin spread across Harry's face but then he groaned.

"Can't. Me and Ron got detention"

Sirius laughed. "What again? Who with?"

"Snape." He rolled his eyes.

"Professor Snape Harry", and for a moment he thought Dumbledor was actually in the room!

They laughed guiltily. "So, what did you do this time?"

Harry looked up innocently. "I answered back."

"Harry!", breathed Sirius, in mock surprise. Then he laughed. "That was one of my specialties too!"

"Well", commented Harry logically, "what's the point of asking if you don't want an answer? And anyway…" he laughed bitterly, "he wasn't meant to hear!"

"Like…?" Sirius raised an eyebrow cynically.

"Like – "Were you too busy to do your homework this week Potter?""

"Typical Snape sarcasm", muttered Sirius. "And you said…"

""Yes, Professor, I was washing my hair you should try it.""

"And Ron added…", Sirius knew the drill.

""You greasy git""

Sirius snorted with laughter. "Ah, Harry, you should give the guy a break!"

"You don't" retorted Harry, laughing.

"Yeah, but you're meant to be the mature, responsible…" Sirius looked at his Godson and clamped a hand over his mouth. "Oh no, that's me!"

When they'd stopped laughing Harry got up.

"See! It worked Sirius. I'm coming now!"

"I don't know what you're talking about" laughed Sirius Black, winking!
